8 High St, Ingleton, CarnforthBrilliant! We are currently in Ingleton for the weekend and we came across The OPO on Friday. Had a few drinks and we’re back here again today! Amazing quirky place, great staff, large choice of drinks (which I’m currently working through) and you have to have a drink in the SOHO (sex) Room. Definitely be back here on our next trip. Also, check out their beer garden.

But seriously, the staff are absolutely perfect. They are friendly, funny, caring and easy to talk too and get along with. The food is fantastic, honestly one of the best meals I have had from just wandering into anywhere or even booking tables. The atmosphere is immaculate, music is to everyones liking, and everything is friendly and welcoming. I can't give them enough praise for the establishment they have created, it is honestly perfect, and I'm planning on commiting to a 2 hour drive just for the food and staff again.

The Old Sawmill Café
The Old Sawmill, Riverside, Clapham, LancasterWe enjoyed the tea cakes and soup of the day (pea, courgette and basil) and hot drinks. The staff are on the ball and friendly. We particularly like the beautiful location and the cosy atmosphere. Keeping the saw mill equipment in place makes for an immersive historical experience.

23 Main St, Ingleton, CarnforthFabulous freshly cooked food, especially loved the mixed bruschetta and vegan bruschetta starters. A lot of choice, so took us a while too choose, which unfortunately meant we felt rushed throughout our meal. Will definitely visit again, but book a later time so nobody will be waiting for our table.

The Craven Heifer
Main St, Ingleton, CarnforthFab ? afternoon of Guinness ?, music and food. A visiting group of acoustic musicians ????? provided impromptu entertainment. The food (I had steak & ale pie with chips ??) was excellent, well priced and nicely presented. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
We'll be going back!

Masons Freehouse
New Rd, Ingleton, CarnforthBroke down in the car outside this pub just over a week ago! These guys turned an extremely awful experience into a a fun start to our UK break! Not only did they help me get the car to a safe place they took us in, helped us with onward transport, fed our dog for us and kept us warm and comfortable until our transport arrived! The beer is excellent and the owners and staff could not be more helpful! Really wish we had stayed the night with them! Their attention to customer service is unbelievable! I thought places like this were lost to history but I’m delighted to say hospitality still exists in this country and it’s in this pub!

The three horseshoes
41 Main St, Ingleton, CarnforthMy partner and I had a spa stay with three course meal and breakfast.
The whole stay was excellent, good food, friendly staff, very clean, comfortable rooms and the spa was lovely.
We had a mud bath which was a fun experience.
This was the perfect place for a relaxed, romantic get away and we found the spa stay great value for money.
If we lived closer I'd definitely visit again.
