27 The Village, Haxby, YorkThe place was superb and the food was astonishing,mind blowing. It was that nice that I spent £250 on I with my family. I recommend the lamb shank and chicken tikka starter. The waiter who was called radin was very attentive and was really nice and also gave me a %5 personally from the head chef. I personally recommend this place and I will definitely go back there with my family.

64 The Village, Haxby, YorkI can honestly say it was one of the best Chinese takeaways I've eaten in years, we had to travel a bit for it but totally worth it. We love not far from Full Sutton and had given up getting Chinese food due to the poor options around here and inconsistent quality. Although it's a half hour drive for us will definitely go here again in the future.

The Curious Coffee Company
8, Haxby Shopping Centre, Haxby, YorkGreat small local business. Small menu but has everything you need without been overwhelming. We had eggs royal and the French toast special (was strawberry cheesecake).
Both plates were presented lovely and tasted amazing. Good quality coffee. Reasonable price. Full but didn't feel too busy.

Millers Fish & Chips
55 The Village, Haxby, YorkHad the chance to try the fish and chips when they came to Osaka in Japan.
Lord knows I’ve tried to find good fish and chips in Japan. Some places do okay but when I ate the fish and chips from here It reminded me of what I was missing. Big chunky chips and a crisp fish it was heavenly, almost made me move back home to Britain it was so good. Took me back to when I was a kid in Clitheroe eating fish and chips my Grandad would buy.
Sadly my grandads mind isn’t there today and the chippys gone but this place and the fantastic delicious fish and chips helped bring those memories back. Look forward to making the detour to visit the shop next time I’m I grace Britain with my presence.

52 The Village, Haxby, YorkVery disappointing to see reserved on most tables which were not going to be used till much later, should have a time on them stating when they are reserved from as some people left after thinking there were no seats available.
