Fish & Chips At 149

Visiting my parents who brought me here for dinner and I was not disappointed, the fish and chips with mushy peas was delicious and the service was great, staff were really friendly and helpful, and the place was nip and clean. In fact it was so nice I brought my daughter and mam the next day. Will definitely be eating here again the next time I visit.

Dietary restrictions: The batter is dairy free which was perfect for my daughter.

The Countryman's Inn

A really nice quiet country pub with excellent rooms. The family room I stayed in was fantastic. Spotlessly clean and very roomy with a double bed and separate raised end of the room with twin beds in. The opposite was also raised going into the spacious bathroom. Very well decorated, quite classy. Lovely little hidden gem. Breakfast was very flexible regarding the cooked items. I opted for a full English which was
lovely. Great quality products on the brekkie, delicious ? Would highly recommend

Asha Tandoori

Have had a week away in Richmond this week & after a day out we fancied an Indian & stumbled across the Asha Tandoori. Can honestly say it was amazing both the food & the staff. We had our young children with us & the staff were so kind, that they gave them a gift to go home with. Can't recommend them enough, if you're reading this I'd totally disregard the negative reviews. Can't wait for my next visit.

Mount Everest Gurkha Takeaway

We’ve just had a weekend away near Catterick and booked for a meal for 6 of us on the Saturday night. They asked us to pre order as Sat is a busy night but that was fine. The food was delicious and so very different. Everything was tasty although some of the dishes had more spice than we were used to. However the thing that made the evening were the staff, they couldn’t do enough for us and were so lovely and helpful. I wish we lived nearer so we could go again to try some different dishes. I played it safe and went for the chicken Thakali set which was a large platter with a mix of rice, curry, dhal and pickles, it was delicious.

Plumer Road Fish & Chip Shop

Always use plumber road and it’s always the best chippy in the Garrison, never disappoints. Recently placed a large order for a 90th birthday party, all food was made fresh and on time and everyone loved it. The owners even went the extra mile and added a card for the birthday girl. 10/10

The Foxglove

Love coming to foxglove for the best quiz in catterick the bar staff Lauren really looked after us on drinks on the bar and the app as always look forward to next week's quiz if she's on

New Kemmel Fish Bar

Sound, friendly and food cooked to order. Excellent value for money.Wanted to update on previous post, as we been a few times since, and the quality has remained the same. No smaller portions or cheaper products used. Still good value compared to others who have comprised.

Little Buddha Nepalese Takeaway

Absolutely fantastic little restaurant/takeaway, if you are in Catterick/Colburn I would thoroughly recommend, beautiful home cooked food, made using traditional ingredients, I have never been disappointed and it's always a go to for me! The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to explaining some of the more obscure dishes. Overall a 5/5 for me and hopefully you too!

Pizza Pronto

I'm not joking when I tell you there pizzas are the best I would happily have this over dominions anyday this guys are like the krustry krab and dominoes are like the chum bucket, the prices of the food here is on point pizza is no where near as oily and slimy as dominoes you will not be disappointed I hope you make the right choice.

Louis Bar

Great club. Don't get too drunk or they won't serve alcohol to you and you may be asked to leave. Large dance floor you can vape and drink on it. Toilets are good. Great music and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Colburn Fisheries

Nice food but portion sizes are absolutely woeful in relation to cost. £19.20 for 2 meals and a single sausage and curry sauce but the large is absolutely tiny.

McDonald's

This is a typical McDonald's drive through with the usual menu from the very lovely breakfast selection to the famous big Mac and all the delicious goodies in-between, the service is fast and the staff are friendly, there is plenty of parking if you want to eat in you can also park on the massive retail park car park.

Majios Pizza Catterick

Gave the 16" parmo pizza a shot... WOW! Parmo on pizza is a genius conception amd absolute game changer! My new favoutite pizza! Delicous and the service is fantastic too!

The Friars Head

Wonderful restaurant & bar. Huge servings of fantastic food at reasonable prices. Atmosphere very cosy, warm & inviting. Staff were superb, very friendly & super accommodating, even sang happy birthday to my wife (thank you). Dog friendly too, our little furby was well received. 100% recommended all round. 10\10 ??

Parking: Plenty of free parking.

Best Kebab

Just had the peri peri kebab had to post because it was absolutely delicious super moist and lemony definitely recommend and staff are so friendly even when do very busy. Well done xxx

Its not often we get the time to pop out for lunch.However, today gave us the opportunity to do a bit of shopping at Princes Gate.Having spent time on site, it made sense to have a quick lunch at Subway.Fortunately we timed it to perfection. We managed to get our order in before the lunchtime rush.The staff led us through the system with consumate ease. Our lunch was soon infront of us in minutes.Very tasty it was to.Yes it is an easy system, but it still needs the human touch. That touch was in evidence today.Its easy to take for granted the slick operation carried out by Subway staff. Lunch sorted.Nice one.

Lees Take-Away

We've always gone to Lee's for a takeaway for the last 15 years. We tend to phone our order in to prevent waiting on collection.Service is friendly and efficient, and the food is great.

KFC Catterick - Richmond Road

Good value and well prepared, be aware if you order takeout to check before leaving as mistakes can happen if you order something a little different. Ordered ice tea on special and recieved diet coke. Had another one when chicken fillets ordered ad extra and recieved pop chicken bits. Doesn't stop us going back as the food is good, tasty, hot, and plentiful. Now drive past McDonald's when one is close when outside area.
