Popped in quite by chance when I was boring my ever patient wife about the sad demise of the Wisbech and Upwell tramway. Joanne's certainly perked her up ready for the second half of the journey to Sheringham, home of the North Norfolk railway. Cracking breakfast for me and a lovely omelette for Mrs P. Next time you're hunting down the site of a Tramway in Norfolk I'd heartily recommend Joanne's. (Just stay away from Wisbech. It's a shit hole)

Im a little bit biased , because it is my local , good all round hospitable, dog n family friendly pub with good entertainment at times with various artists & themed nights ? always showing main sports events and good cheap pub grub

Globe Inn

1 School Rd, Upwell, Wisbech

Stayed in and AirBNB in the area and went in for a quick afternoon NYE drink with wife and son. Very pleased with the atmosphere, cleanliness and friendliness. Landlord has recently taken over and completely renovated. Very impressive looking at his before and after photos. Would definitely return if we come back this way. Highly recommended.
