I cannot praise this place highly enough. Very friendly helpful staff, lovely clean room, excellent food. It's in beautiful well kept grounds. Unfortunately, the weather was diabolical in April on our short stay, so couldn't explore very much, but are definitely going back later in the year. We had booked for the Afternoon Tea, the staff were friendly and courteous. The food was presented beautifully, warm scones, with plenty of cream and jam. Lovely soft bread for the finger sandwiches. With lots of yummy little cakes. Fortunately we were provided with a box for the food we couldn't fit in our tums! We will be returning.
It was just a gorgeous retreat that was very clean and comfortable, and staff that were more than willing to helpRooms: Rooms are private spacious and clean. Toiletries and dressing gowns included. Small kettle with basic drink supplies, although.. its the first place we've ever stayed that did Rooisbos tea!
