The Parson Woodforde
Church St, NorwichWe have been to The Parson Woodforde several times since moving to the local area. It's a lovely pub and restaurant that feels great any time of year.
It's equally good to enjoy a dinner meal and refreshments, as it is to experience the warmth of the log fire and cozy feel in winter.
The food and selection of ales is top drawer. The staff are always friendly and polite but occasionally, we have experienced slow service.
The decor is lovely and everything you'd expect from an established country pub.
We haven't stayed overnight but imagine that would be lovely too.
A well recommended pub.
Food and drinks: A fair selection on the menu, we haven't experienced a poor meal here.
The quality of food is brilliant.
Noteworthy details: Set in the village of Weston Longville, the pub enjoys country views, access to public footpaths and long walks or nearby access to the A47, Fakenham Road and the Norwich NDR. This makes it a great base for exploring the city, the North Norfolk coast or the local area with towns like Dereham and Fakenham a short drive away.
