37 The Thoroughfare, HarlestonI always have great eateries and take out service from the team at this, my local cafe, but today I was lucky enough to find the time to eat in and boy was it well worth it. Without going into all the details of presentation, ingredients, garden table etc, it was like home away from home, even better as I was the one being served :-)). 23 The Thoroughfare, HarlestonThe cap,A micro brewery owned pub(ampersand brewery) that sells their own beer and local craft and not so crafty cider Aspall we looking at you, their liquor and spirits, keeping you on ur toes, they keep mainstream off their record with less common known but still great gins, whiskey, rum and so much more. They host lots of fun entertainment from a vinyl DJ that smacks to quizz nights that will make the chase shrink in fear. Definitely worth a pop down even if its out the way, disappointment is not on the table.I don't work there ?P.s food trucks are available on selected dates more about them on the caps Instagram

12 London Rd, HarlestonOne of the very best fish and chip shops. Tasty good sized cod for £8 cooked to perfection. Tables to dine in as well. Well worth popping in if passing along the A143.

Church Ln, HarlestonWent here on a date night during a Friday. We didn’t make any previous reservations but were lucky to get a table on arrival and the place was busy. Would definitely recommend the food here specially the beef ribs. Will definitely go back for more. The service can be a bit slow as the place was busy but other than that everything else was good.

3 Church St, HarlestonVisiting the area for the weekend. Saw someone walk past with a bag of food and thought why not. Price on a par with everywhere else. Portions reasonable, everything cooked well and presented ok. Shop was dated but not going to review the decor. Staff friendly and quickly organised. I would go back if in the area.

Crown Inn Pulham Market
Crown Inn, Harleston Rd, Pulham Market, DissAbsolutely lovely country pub on archetypal village Green. We visited for Sunday lunch. Huge portions of well cooked food. The steak and ale pie was fabulous with perfect short pastry and rich gravy. If you manage to have space for dessert be prepared for more huge portions. The interior was spacious with comfy chairs and roaring fires. Dogs welcome. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Hill Farm, Redenhall Road, Harleston, NorfolkWhat a find! This delightful cafe in a lovely rural setting ticked all the boxes. Great coffee, a great choice of cakes and a menu of light snacks, brunch or more substantial lunch served by lovely staff. They even sell a good range of local produce. We will be back.

Pizza Plus
9 Redenhall Rd, HarlestonFirst visit, impressive greeting from staff. We ordered kebab meat meals, and ribs'n'chips.
Disappointed with mayo sauce and lack of sidesalad, which I thought was part of the deal. Otherwise food was cooked well and tasty.
Maybe it'll be the pizza next time.
