The inside is small, I wouldn't plan to eat-in unless it's for 2... maybe up to 4 people. If not, just get it to go; the owner, Jean Paul, is such a joy to talk with and makes you feel like family within minutes.

37 High St, BrandonDelivery was on point. Literally as requested.Order was simple. Chicken sweetcorn soup, set meal for 1 (chicken balls/sweet sour sauce, typical Chinese curry and egg fry rice + 1 spring roll.Freebie - prawn crackers.Review time-Delivery and comms exceptional. I requested a specific time, it arrived exactly (literally on the minute) and I was called to advise it arrived.Soup was adequate and tasty, also very hot still. Personally for flavour I would have liked a bit more soy and sesame oil- but that's just me. It all got eaten.Chicken balls and sauce. The batter on the balls was superb, like....bloody great. Light and fluffy, yet crispy and lush. The chicken, soft and perfect in every way.The way this dish worked for me (staying in a hotel) was the fact I just dipped the chicken in the sauce and munched away - using my curry and rice as a real main. The sauce was cold, which I found odd, but I guess that's as intended because it worked, and tasted epic.The curry. Typical yellow Chinese curry. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, but not a show stopper. Saying that.....like a fatty, it's all eaten.The rice, again....surprised me. Fluffy and spot on.I can't really review the prawn crackers as I usually don't eat them.For the sake of review I've eaten 1. Erm.....prawn crackery....not my thing unfortunately.Final note.Absolutely sterling food tonight. Cannot recommend enough.I only wish I'd gone for something other than the set meal seeing as how good this has been.Hope it helps.

13 High St, BrandonI've tried all the Chinese takeaways in Brandon many of times, and this one is by far the best in terms of taste and value for money by a long way. The cheapest I've ever bought, and in the top 3 I've had in 20 years anywhere in the UK. Cooked to high standard.

19 High St, BrandonAlways very happy with my food. Sometimes delivery's a little while due to them being very busy but with a menu as large as they have and as many orders they get a night it's expected. I want my food cooked good so I don't mind waiting a lil longer for it.

48 London Rd, BrandonWe placed a large order for delivery to Centre Parcs and were very impressed. The food was delicious, wasn’t greasy, and it was still hot when we got it back to the lodge. The staff were super helpful and called us 5 minutes before they left so we could meet them at the security lodge. We highly recommend China Garden and would definitely order from here again.
