Went for an evening meal and I have the say that thing that makes the night are the people. They are great fun and have a laugh. The food was lovely, medium curry was slightly hotter than I'm used to but very tasty.

Enjoyed a quiet lunch on Thursday at just after 2pm. Friendly atmosphere, the staff we warm without being over friendly and service was prompt. We ordered and it was to long before the food arrived. The choices were very appetising. There were the standard options you find on most menus but there were more that added something extra, choices that appeal to the more adventurous. The food came it was hot and very tasty. When I go to eat and believe me I can (I am by no means over weight but I do enjoying a meal) and often find the portions when I go put leave me wanting more, not here. I ate everything served to me but I was satisfied and it was touch and go as to wanting a pudding. That was until I saw what was on offer, I made room. Again a good variety of choice, plenty came and I found myself well and truly full. Overall, excellent food, good portions, good prompty service, friendly atmosphere oh and the ale is good too. I definitely recommend this place. Oh, don't be disappointed and make sure you make a reservation, it is a very popular place. Yes even during a normal mid week day.

Myself and my niece went on Friday evening (18.11.22) the food was absolutely amazing, I had the sirloin steak, cooked to perfection and my niece had the battered haddock which she also enjoyed. Service from the staff was excellent nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back. Thank you all ??

Great food would certainly go again , tables a bit close together though, had cutlery dark at sid of me and staff has to lean past to access,and when lady at next table wanted to get out she had to squeeze through the gap between tables

Recently stayed with Rob and Dean to attend my sisters funeral. Right from check in they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful . They could not have looked after us any better. Accommodating our vague meal times and appetites owing to the occasion and nothing was too much trouble . The food was lovely and portions very generous. The breakfast was amazing and the best we have had anywhere We were there for 2 nights the room we had was wonderful. The mattress the most comfortable I have ever slept on . It was quiet and exactly what we needed . The services in the room replenished immediately after request generously.
I cannot fault the guys or their establishment and look forward to visiting them again happier times .

Rooms: Furnishings carpet all brand new . Incredibly comfortable and warm . Lots of coffee tea etc
