A Lovely Greek Interlude in Mid-Lincolnshire.

We had a table of 8 booked for a family meal and had an amazing time here.

I will come on to the food, but the service was excellent. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and the staff were patient, kind, and had good banter!

The pub is owned by a greek family from Zakynthos. Not only did our staff member, Marina, spend time with us explaining the greek dishes and making excellent recommendations but I also had a great conversation with her about Greek history, food, and culture!

Now, the food. I had the spicy feta dip (tyrokafteri) which was fantastic, and the Zakynthian Kokkinisto, which was a rich slow cooked beef stew with aromatic flavours of cinnamon and clove. It was fantastic.

Others on our table had the moussaka, beef stifado, chicken souvlaki, grilled swordfish, spanakopita, Tzatziki, and a burger. All were excellent!

This place is a real gem, and I would highly recommend trying some great greek food clearly cooked with love and passion.

We will definitely be back for bougatsa, beef stifado, and travel tips from Marina.

Lovely cafe in the middle of Metheringham. Great to stop off at on a bike ride to Woodhall Spa.
Food was good, boyfriends full English at 11.30 was described as excellent. My jacket potato was a bit undercooked but edible.
Coffee - make sure you tell the waiting staff if you want black, or it comes white.
Arty surroundings and incorporating a craft and handmade craft shop.
We will return and the above was nit picking.

Turgay's Kebab & Pizza House

Ordered a Doner wrap kebab by phone, was ready as promised, on time lovely friendly service and I have to say I probably only have a Doner a couple of times a year... so I'm no expert but I throughly enjoyed it. Good price, fresh salad, not greasy. Well done and I will be back.

Beautiful food, excellent service and very clean. Lamb tikka korma was great…Lamb was 10 out of 10. Dropped in on the off chance as we were passing through and very glad we did. If we’re every near metheringham again we would definitely come back.
