We had the food Wagon (Herbert I think) for our Wedding Reception serving Breakfast baps and Waffles. The food went down an absolute treat. Nicky and her team are absolutely wonderful people. So friendly and accommodating - can not recommend them enough and will will definitely be using them again!

The meat dishes were piping hot, unfortunately the rice was luke warm, and the nam bread was warm and quite damp. The meal had a lot of flavour, same about the rice and nam. The website was very easy to use, although it doesn't allow you to pick a collection time. I put a collection time in the comments, but received a conformation email to say ready at 7pm not 7:45 requested, although a quick call and they charged the order time. If it had all been hot would have been 5 stars

Where staying at the lodges on brigg road, ordered a little take away to enjoy on our last night! Came really quick & staff are very polite, pizza is great, all the food was 10/10 also thank you for our slice of chocolate cake… Highly recommend??

Blacksmiths Arms

Visited the pub a couple of times over the past 2 weeks for a meal, on both occasions the food and service from Sam and the team have been amazing. Would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch, they accommodated 13 of us on Sunday and all the meals came out hot, cooked to perfection and so reasonably priced. We will be back soon to try some more dishes!

Had a gorgeous meal here with my parents. The pie portion was massive and it defeated my boyfriend who can usually demolish a pub lunch! I had the rib ends, absolutely gorgeous. My mum had the pepper and whiskey chicken which was lovely too.

This was not our first visit to The Bull Inn. Every time we visit we are given a very warm welcome by the owner and his team.
My partner and I have dined there this evening, and I can honestly say the food was excellent.
Fresh, tasty, and very well presented.
On this occasion my partner chose the salmon and I had the haddock. Absolutely fantastic. The staff were brilliant at putting a takeaway meal together for my partner's son....
Thank you to all the staff at The Bull Inn.
I definitely recommend trying this place. You will not be disappointed.
5 stars all round .

This is a busy fish and chip shop, serving freshly fried food to a very high standard, the staff are friendly and work hard to make sure the ever present queue is served.
The portions are large, but I would recommend purchasing a box for your food.
There is car parking at the rear of the building.

The White Hart

We had a beautiful meal tonight in the white Hart, our server Charlie was absolutely amazing! He was attentive, professional and funny! He knew everything on the menu, offered us the option of a suprise pie as we couldn't choose from the many options available. The food was lovely, we had value for money and the service was great. We will happily come back again soon! Thank you to all the team. (Especially Charlie)

Hidden to the side of the COOP store in the carpark. People driving by would easily miss it

Parking: Extra parking off North street where there are toilets as well with an Access ramp to the fish shop and other shops

Been many years ago and even now was delighted with the meal I had. They do have a menu board and also a specials board and no doubt will cater for any other needs that's required. Having the special of the day I was well satisfied and enjoyed it (steak pie with veggies and mash). It was plenty for me and politely declined the treacle or sponge pud with custard as it may have been too much. Once again an enjoyable meal and will call again hopefully in the near future, thank you to the staff

Called in Thursday evening for a couple of beers and food after a days fishing in the area. Large country style pub. Decent selection of beverages good food menu and friendly staff. The pub is closed Monday and Tuesday open from 6pm Wensdays. Would call again if in area.

The King's Head

The King's Head is the oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire.

I booked this as the menu and reviews looked good. The actual dining experience was far better than described in many reviews.

I will add a small caveat here, if there is one thing wrong with the Kings head it is detail. As you will read they get it so right so many times but kitchen and bookings do miss the ball on a few things. On arrival, my booking had been misplaced, but the team quickly sorted the booking and sorted us out with a table.

The menu is good, with the daily specials on each table.

Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. There is the normal drinks order taken and soon after, the drinks are brought over. The main food to be ordered.

The food is manly of a very high quality and well presented. The portions are enormous. Especially any dessert you may have.

There is a good range of recommended beers and wines and the taps are clean. The beer is well poored.

This is a well-run pub/restaurant. Service is 5* food 5*.( on a second Friday visit the food fell down slightly items were left under the hot lights a little to long down to 3.5*)

It's a nice traditional pub, it's comfy, friendly and a great dining experience. It is busy, so my main recommendation, other than go and experience, is to book ahead.

Other than that, enjoy, but watch what they serve you. When busy, you might end up with a prawn cocktail rather than a prawn and salmon salad.

Well done the team at the King's Head.

Parking: There is a lot of parking but it is a busy place and it can be tight fit.

A very friendly local pub with a nice selection of ales, craft beer and lager. The food is good quality and a reasonable price. Staff know their customers well and remember your drink order after a couple of visits. Open every day from 12 which is rare these days.

Fabulous food! Went here for a takeaway whilst visiting family in the area and definitely would return just for the food here! Good value, great food, not the biggest waiting area if busy but that's not really an issue. Highly recommended.
