Phoenix Chinese Take Away

The Anchor Inn

Snax of Long Sutton
32 Market Pl, Long Sutton, SpaldingVisited Snax twice now. Absolute wonderful staff, they happily chatted, made us feel very welcome. Snax is around 20 seats inside, with seating outside too. Very clean, well decorated. Can def recommend Gill's homemade angel cake, delicious! So light and fluffy. We also had a bacon and egg butty and frothy latte. Look forward to visiting again soon

The greyhound public house
204 Bridge Rd, Sutton Bridge, SpaldingDidn't know pubs like this still existed. Lovely clean traditionally styled place. Great selection of drinks, great staff, lovely friendly crowd of regulars. Only here for an hour but thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Hope I find myself in the area again as definitely worth a return. Thoroughly recommended ?

There are only 2 at a time, 1 makes drinks for drive through, the other for in store customers. 3rd in the queue and had to wait 10 mins - not the first time

25 High St, Long Sutton, SpaldingFirst time I'd ever been in there, and will definitely go again. Wasn't sure how they wanted me to order, the name or the number of the dish, and was told either was ok, so that was good. Once ordered the man double checked what I had ordered to make sure before taking it through to the kitchen. Only took about 10 minutes and I sat and waited, there's 3 or 4 chairs as there's not much room, pictures of some of the dishes available, and lots of money tree plants. Nothing special but clean and tidy, could do with updating but we all know that costs money. Got a free bag of prawn crackers with the food we ordered. The dishes were piping hot and cooked through, tasted good and was happy with it all.

Churchhills Bar

Nothing was to much trouble Debbie went above and beyond to make the venue special with food and decorations and making us all feel welcome. Brilliant night ,couldn't fault it .would highly recommend ?

Unicorn diner and catering Ltd
5 Hoddins Wy, Long Sutton, SpaldingAlways good to find a dog-friendly cafe. The buildings and theme are a little unusual as you approach, with funny messages dotted around the place. The food took a little longer than some places, but it was all cooked from fresh as ordered, and you could tell that with the crisp, fresh taste, so worth the wait. The price is also good for fresh-cooked.I'd definitely recommend the veggie burger with side salad, skinned fries and onion rings (wish I'd ordered extra onion rings, if that is an option. Best ever). Didn't have time for cake afterwards and we were quite full, so maybe next time.

Riverside Bar & Restaurant
16 Bridge Rd, Sutton Bridge, SpaldingI gave a 4 for service. This is even though there is no restaurant here . It is a room only pub . But it does that too a fantastic level. All the ladies I have met behind the bar have friendly fun and give the place a real relaxing homely pub feel. The room is well equipped, fresh tea coffee on tap . Will stay again if in the area . Ps if you buy a takeaway they will supply plates and cutlery in the pub so you can continue to watch the football ect . Give them a visit.

21 High St, Long Sutton, SpaldingVery good all round, used this one when my usual one was closed for their holiday and I was not disappointed. Can be a long wait at times which to me is a good sign that it's liked by many. Prices on par with others, food is tasty, hot and above all not greasy. They are however cash onlyParking: On road parking baysWheelchair accessibility: A Step into the shop makes it a little awkward for wheelchairs/pushchairs but with help from customers sitting waiting they can access a relatively large waiting area.

Amaals Curry House
128 Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge, PE12 9SF, 0140Agree with others on this, you don’t realise how bad many others are. Had the tikka kebab, I’d give this 12/10 it was that good. Lots of flavour, nice sauce and cooked to perfection. Pity I’m not local but I’ll definitely be swinging by here when I’m passing - thanks Ammals that was proper nice.

Palmers Ale House & Kitchen
46 Market Pl, Long Sutton, SpaldingIn the last three months Palmers have really upped their game. They have a broad selection of veggie and vegan food for a rural pub in a small village, they also have an interesting and varied menu for everyone else . The Chicken Katsu burger is quite excellent, very filling and the sweet potato fries are delicious, particularly if paired with the house barbecue sauce. In addition if you want a lunchtime snack then the posh fishfinger sandwich is just the one. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Did I mention the beer and wine? Atm they have an excellent weissbier which brings me much joy and my wife loves the organic Shiraz

The Granary bar & grill
5 Market St, Long Sutton, SpaldingPopped in as we were hungry passing through and it was dog friendly. The lady who served us was lovely. We had a drink and food. The food was so good, wasn’t expecting much but we both really enjoyed it. I had chicken kebab and the husband had a burger. Would recommend for food.

A quiet relaxing garden area if you wish to have a bit of time for yourself.
Plenty of choice to get something to eat in the area and retreat to the room.
Rooms are comfortable and accommodating.
If working away I would recommend. WiFi is on site and no extra charge.

The Unicorn Diner
32 Market Pl, Long Sutton, SpaldingFirst visit will not be the last. Food excellent , presentation excellent could not fault anything. Very good price have had worse elsewhere and paid a lot , lot more. The chef is a great asset to this diner, I hear Sunday roast is amazing so will be back .

Family Kebab & pizza House

Due to my fault I had to call re a burger that I thought was chicken. The burger delivered was not. I called and without hesitation they sent a chicken burger instead. AmazingI have need impressed and grateful they take care of customers. I'll order again.
