Guests staying at the nearby White Hart hotel in Lincoln over Christmas 2022 booked the Christmas meal at The Lincoln Grille and found the overall experience to be very good, albeit with a few inconsistencies. The starters, such as goat cheese and liver pate, were excellent, and the main courses of lamb with potato dauphinoise and roast beef with Yorkshire pudding were mostly impressive, with the lamb being outstanding. The cocktails and local cask ale were also praised.
