We came here on our first night of our stay in Brigg and it did not disappoint which even led us to returning again for the second night. The Black Bull
3 Wrawby St, BriggLively pub on a Saturday night and gets easily crowded due to its small size, cheap drinks, clean toilets and friendly service, the bar is on the small side and I wish they didn't get rid of the pool table! But the outside area is good with outdoor tvs, heating and plenty of seating!

The Deli & Diner
13 Wrawby St, BriggCame in today (not our first visit) and ordered myself the Giant Yorkie with mince, mash, veg and Gravy. Unfortunately they were out of giant yorkies however did provide a couple of small instead making me very happy. Food was just as beautiful as always and fairly priced. My meal was £7.25 and has completely filled me, most likely for the day.
Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options for most dishes allowing inclusive dining for all.
Dietary restrictions: They're very happy to remove items from dishes where possible.
Kid-friendliness: Has a very nice family atmosphere with plenty of meal options for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with a ramp and hand rail at the door.

Cooplands
70 Wrawby St, BriggLovely high street bakery. The window display of giant danish lured us all in!Once inside the frsh smell of cakes, biscuits and savouries was delightful.Very good value for money too, which is important these days. The staff were friendly and they have a loyalty card for purchases too.We only bought cakes, but the savoury things like sausage rolls and pies etc are usually best just out the oven or nicer hot.

Scawby Fish & Chips Shop
3 Chapel Ln, Scawby, BriggSome of the nicest fish and chips around, and reasonably priced as well.
You couldn't ask to meet any more friendly owners either, always make you feel welcome and have a chat.
They are closed Monday and Tuesday though.
Edit:
Unfortunately the shop is under new management as the previous owners have retired.
I've tried them twice since and was not impressed either time.

The White Horse - JD Wetherspoon
Wrawby St, BriggNever had a bad meal yet, brilliant value for money. Wetherspoons is now a British institution ?? but
why are they not supplying hot chocolate when their menu clearly states, Hot Chocolate! They have installed new dispensing machines! Come on Wetherspoons, play the game........

Broughton Fish Bar (BRIGG)
49 High St, Broughton, BriggJust moved to the area and trying various food options around the area, nice to find a fish and chip shop open on a Monday night, ordered a large haddock, large chips and curry sauce, really nice it was cooked fresh and the fish was delicious, sweet and crispy batter, great portion size, we shared this between two of us and was plenty. The premises was extremely clean and after eating would not hesitate to recommend this place, will definitely visit again, thanks

Brigg Garden Centre
Bigby High Rd, BriggA good sized garden centre with everything you would expect to find. It has seasonal events and is a good place to take kids at Christmas. Some garden centres have a better range of food products, although the restaurant isn't bad.
There is a section of books and toys as well as candles and other household ornaments.
Shops onsite include Pavers, mountain warehouse, the works and cotton traders.
Overall, it is one of the better garden centres in the county.

The Garden Fish & Chip Shop
86 Grammar School Rd, BriggFirst time after moving to the area wanted to try and find our go to fish and chip shop. After looking at reviews went to the Garden Fish and Chip Shop, I think we struck it lucky first time, ordered 2 cod and a portion of chips, good value for money great portions. Took the drive back to Scawby, and fish was beautifully crispy and full of flavour, all tasted fresh;y cooked as it was, and it survived the journey which is always a good test. Don’t be fooled by the size of visual of this Chip Shop appearances are definitely deceptive, great place great food

The Britannia Inn
36-37 Wrawby St, BriggNice pub, and friendly staff and the drinks were at good prices that's why I've given 4 stars
We went for the quiz, which was a total disaster. Too many questions and picture rounds and questions were read at breakneck speed, didn’t have time to get another drink
If they get a decent quizmaster, we might go back, but otherwise won't bother

Shipley's Curiositeas
O'Mahoneys Fruit & Veg, Wrawby St, BriggMy daughter treated me to afternoon tea as a birthday treat. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere and decor are also part of the charm. The staff are friendly and make it a lovely dining experience. They are always very busy and you do need to book in advance. My daughter and I had a lovely time there.
