Ferry Rd, Barrow Haven, Barrow-upon-HumberWe stayed in a budget room with free breakfast. Fantastic value for money! The owners and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, the main part of the room has pleasant décor. Yes the bathroom is dated, but that is reflected in the budget description and price point. That being said it was all fully functioning and spotlessly clean. The whole room was very clean. Crisp white bedding. Mattress was comfy and just as important we had two lovely fluffy pillows each. This place really is a cosy, comfy home from home. The team work tirelessly to create a welcoming, homely atmosphere which was much appreciated. The breakfast was lovely. Piping hot food of excellent quality. Even though we have checked out we will be going back shortly for the famous carvery! Well done guys, keep doing what you’re doing!

Oriental Star
Turners Bldg, 1 Barrow Rd, New Holland, Barrow-upon-HumberAbsolutely amazing food!! The sweet and sour chicken is to die for and the chips are cooked to perfection, soft crispy and not too chunky. The staff are so assertive and kind. would recommend this Chinese to anyone and everyone, defiantly become our favourite in the area!

High St, Barrow-upon-HumberAnother great home cooked meal at The Royal Oak. Great food at good prices with fantastic friendly staff. Always eat here when staying at Marshland Alpacas Campsite. By far the best place around, and dog friendly. Be back soon, thank you.

9 Howe Ln, Goxhill, Barrow-upon-HumberFirst time using this chippy, do gluten free fish and chips plus gluten free fishcakes plus a full menu, great prices the lady serving is very polite and efficient, food also very good, we will be back ?

High St, Barrow-upon-HumberThe lady taking my order was very pleasant and friendly - keen to be write rather than just pleasantly respond.The price was id say good value - I live in hull and this was 3/4 quid less for simular.Waiting area had two big reasonably clean sofa - excellent!Wait time... 4 minsParking - easy - straight outsideFood quality - ok to good throughout. Crispy Chicken was lovely. Small criticism - something wasn't right with the rice, wasn't as dry as we expect and flavour was a little lacking maybe something to improve as everything else was really good.In summary excellent medium to low budget Chinese takeaway

Barrow Pizza Fish & Chips
30 High St, Barrow-upon-HumberHave a take out every Friday. The food is usually excellent but not tonight. we order the same every Friday , 3 Fish and a burger. Burger was great as usual but the fish were dreadful. The batter was rock hard and hardly any fish inside and what bit of fish there was , was as dry as a bone. So disappointed as its usually lovely. Too expensive to throw away.
