U3, 1286 Melton Rd, Syston, LeicesterOrdered pizza and got fresh pizza straight out of the oven.. Manager served me, was very helpful, happy and informative.. Gave me a free coffee which was bonus.. Parking is not so great, it is on street parking and at peak time, highly unlikely not be available...but the store is clean and staff are fantastic.

The Brookside Inn
35 Brookside, Barkby, LeicesterFood is yet to be reintroduced, but will be available soon, not long after the reopening of this beautiful Pub. Upper case. The care in injecting some love into this hidden escape marvel. Generations of my family have been in on it's secrets. She's got to have a great future. Delighted with service and atmosphere.

Pizza deal 2 which is 1x 12 inch pizza a 7 inch Garlic bread 1.5ltr Pepsi 2 chips. £15.50 plus delivery,surcharges . About 20quid.
Pizza was better than I've had round here. Tried loads over the past 2 weeks . Garlic bread wasn't too greasy . Really doughy chips were decent although slightly soggy as they're in a polystyrene tray .
We got a chilli sauce dip this looked oily and really spicy but it was like a naga pickle not hot but had a slight kick afterwards.

8a High St, Syston, LeicesterThese ladies are amazing, they have just done the catering for my daughters 21st birthday party and it was outstanding. I received a lot of compliments about the food. Everything was stunning from the presentation to the taste. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Hobby Horse Farm - Dining & Carvery
Glebe Way, LeicesterVisited tonight 2nd April for my dad's 80th birthday. Carvery was great but my Cheese and potato pie was rock hard on the outside, but burning hot on the inside, also the chips were luke warm. On the plus side we had a lovely waitress, who was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, big thanks to Sam L.
Vegetarian options: Hardly any veggie selection, and why can't the cheese and potato pie ever be cooked properly??

1261 Melton Rd, Syston, LeicesterWe ordered the Chicken platter to take out after the staff nicely explained what was included.
The Chicken (Shish, Wings & Beyti) was juicy and succulent - very tasty with a hint of charcoal taste. Rice was okay...salad was okay...bread was alright not like it was homemade...and no sauce (chilli or garlic mayo). Wondered whether the staff forgot to give the sauce or we had to ask ??
Overall it was good. We only popped it to give the place a try as we were shopping nearby.

What stops me giving it 5* is the fact that there isn’t a particularly comfortable seat in the place & they could all do with a bit of a clean too!!
Parking: Have to park about 300 yards away in a free car park, for a limited time.

All reasonably priced with choice of portion size.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the area was comfortable and welcoming. I will definitely be returning with friends and family.

2hd, 1284A Melton Rd, Syston, LeicesterGood food just the staff are extremely rude and beware don't bother with coupons as they will turn them away saying they are expired when most of the time they are not and overall the staff just come across as rude which is a let down as the old staff were much nicer
