It's so great to find a Korean restaurant in a place where there aren't many Koreans. I had a delicious Korean meal for the first time after arriving in Loughborough. The presence of Korean friends made me feel at ease. It was the first Korean meal I had in a few weeks. It was delicious. There was a lot of rice and plenty of side dishes. The food came out quickly. It was a late lunch, but it was even better.

This place we discovered just by luck and definitely recommending! Absolutely amazing atmosphere, felt welcomed, food was wonderfully delicious, lots of different draft beers, clean bathrooms, and board games. We will return . Parking was easy, just behind the pub, we paid a ticket for two hours which cost £2 after 6 pm. Thank you so much for such a wonderful food ! ? ? ?

We’ve also eaten in a couple of times and the service is always excellent, staff are attentive and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Called for a quick bite here prior to seeing a show at the MMC Venue on a cold, dark and wet night. Had a nice welcome upon arrival and shown to our table. There was a good selection on the menu. Only really had time for a main and I chose the Sea Bass which was delicious. All of us had different meals that we all enjoyed. Good food and good service... could not ask for more. Must come again when I have more time.

Such a good evening, wine was practically ALL great, the locals were so friendly and fun and Scott (Steve) created the environment, had such a good time we stayed for an extra 2 hours past what we expected to!! Went there as part of a reunion weekend. A good 30+ of the group descended at the same time and the bar staff had all on serving drinks and taking food orders. Used the upstairs room for catching up with people and having a few to drinks.
The food we had was really good - the peri peri burger and the Louisiana Burger with a large sharing side dish of fries were absolutely terrific and much needed. A good sized burger and both were very tasty.
The atmosphere upstairs in the loft was really good and it was always going to be due to the fact that this was a 50 year reunion celebration and the guys present many of whom hadn't seen some of those present for over 45 years.

I used the drive through this evening, (not a frequent visiter) and was so impressed.
The guy that took my order asked if I wanted drinks with the 2 meals I ordered.
I said "no thank you", he checked again 'are you sure you don't want drinks"?
Again I said "no thank you".
When I got to the window he said I was paying more without having the drinks.
And said "would you like me to add drinks?". I explained I don't like drinks in the car incase they fall over, so he suggested swapping the drinks for sides.
Then he checked again and said if you take off one of the fries, then swap a drink for the fries, it works out cheaper.
Wow, I said he should be promoted to manager and he said he was the manager for that shift.
He asked me to wait in a bay whilst the vegan burger was being freshly cooked.
And he then brought the food to me.
This may ONLY be KFC, it is ONLY a fast food restaurant but tonight I was impressed.
I'd had a long day at work and just wanted something quick to eat, so a huge Thank You to tonight's manager, a lovely, helpful, friendly guy.

Very friendly, new owner (old ones were just fine too!) and they allow me to loaf around here on their internet as I wait for my car to be serviced. I always buy a big breakfast and a couple of coffees to earn my keep and awkwardly explain my unusually long period of stay on the premises. They're super cool. They even gave me a free coffee after I'd been here far too long haha. Highly recommended as a good old school, friendly, warm British cafe!

Very impressed - I had mini fish and chips with peas (there is a choice of sides) and it was a really decent portion for £8.50. Four hours later, I still feel full.
I went at a quietish time (Saturday, 5 p.m.) and ate on one of the tables outside. Very nice people serving too.
Having lived in Loughborough for 52 years, I can't believe I have never tried Devonshire Fisheries before, but what's certain is that I will be back.

what a lovely establishment. I was taken there for a celebratory meal, and it was flawless. The ambience was a delight, as soon as you entered the reception area The food selection on the specials board menu made choosing a little difficult, because you knew that this wasn't just a 'bistro/bulk' type of place, it oozed refined dining. When the food arrived, the presentation was just beautiful, as the saying goes..." you first eat with your eyes". Both of our meals on each course were explained down to the fine details, and cooked to perfection- what an accolade to the Chef and their team. The wine list was extensive, with quality wines that a sommelier would be proud of. The staff had obviously been trained to a high standard, were very attentive to detail, and the Maitre d' (if that is his title) was spot on. It was truly a pleasurable afternoon spent with a special person. Thankyou

Even so the customers were chatty, it’s dog friendly and the range of beers exceptional. I went for a Guerrilla Stout. Really smooth, went down a treat. This is how pubs should be imho!!

I went there after a funeral. Beer selection and service was exemplary. The buffet that was available to the funeral attendees was lovely. They even had a gluten free selection. A varied selection of areas to occupy including the most amazing beer garden and outside drinking area. They could say that this is a boozer for locals. No way. I would feel very much at home and welcome popping in there for a beautifully poured pint of real ale.
