3 High St, Kegworth, DerbyHidden Gem Kitchen is a great little local cafe. the owner is a trained chef and the food served at the cafe is usually great quality. the menu consists of cooked breakfast items, baguettes, paninis, omelettes, and salads. There are usually a couple of lunchtime specials available that change from week to week. The food is cooked to order. So there is usually a slight wait between placing your order and receiving your food. Different dietary requirements can be catered for including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. There is a wide selection of drinks including different coffees, different teas, hot chocolate, milkshakes, smoothies, and soda drinks. there is also a good selection of homemade cakes including a vegan cake and gluten free brownies. Afternoon tea can be arranged but needs to be pre booked. the cafe can also provide buffets and other forms of catering for small local events and businesses.
Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian breakfast on the menu. There are also veggie options for lunchtime baguettes, paninis, and omelettes. One of the lunchtime specials is usually veggie or can be adapted to be veggie. The afternoon tea also has a vegetarian option. Vegans are also catered for with a vegan breakfast, a baguette option, and a panini option. One of the lunchtime specials can usually be adapted to be vegan as well. There is also vegan cake and oat milk for hot drinks.

1 Market Pl, Kegworth, DerbySuper friendly staff who were very helpful and quick to serve. They seem to serve big portions, mine certainly was. A few other tables had food left over too? Although not the best curry I’ve had on my travels, I would highly recommend a visit.
Walkability: Car park very close by.
Food & drinks: Good selection of drinks. The Cobra was excellent.
