Bombay Bistro Restaurant
11 High St, IbstockHaving lived 30 of my 32 years in Englands Curry Capital, Leicester City Centre, I did think when I moved to Ibstock that finding a quality indian restaurant which was on par with what I was used to would be impossible. However, it is safe to say I have landed on my feet with Bombay Bistro. I have attended and had takeaways from here a number of times in my 2 years at Ibstock and have consistently been impressed with the quality of the food, value for money and the exceptional customer service of Bo and his team. I feel very fortunate to have Bombay Bistro on the door step and would recommend anyone contemplating going to definately do so! Keep up the good work!

71 Curzon St, IbstockGreat classic English pub, popped in with the Mrs for a quick pint on a random day out, with us being from the city it was very clear we where dressed completely different to the locals and stood out like sore thumbs, this being said we where made extremely welcome by the landlady and regulars, reminded me of how pubs used to be and should still be, friendly chats and bit of banter, myself and the good wife agreed that the pint served was the best we had had in a long time. Only problem was that we dint have time to stay longer, we have both agreed we will be making a trip here again.

Massala - Ibstock
51 Central Ave, IbstockWe decided to order a meal for our anniversary. We ordered a couple of hours in advance for delivery and it turned up smack on time. The food was amazing! We have only recently moved into the area so thought we would try our local takeaway. We couldn't fault the food or service in anyway so now we know how good Masala is we don't need to try anywhere else. Amazing is the only way to describe our food and delivery service. Thank you and keep up the great work!

212 Leicester Rd, IbstockOnly went in for curry sauce and mushy peas as I was cooking my own fish at home. Friendly service and despite me only spending £3 he took time to chat to me. I even came away with a free lemon to accompany my fish. Keep up the good service and next time I will buy the full meal.

41 High St, IbstockWe hadn't been for a while and forgot how good the food was. We had kebabs and asked if we could go for a pint. We asked for 1/2 an hour for it to be ready and it was still hot when we got home. About 3 days later we went again and the owner new what we wanted and and he told the staff to hang fire until they had a drink in the ram in which we thought was nice.

4 Ashby Rd, IbstockWe heard this chip shop was also doing gluten free options I am coeliac so me and hubby decided to visit. Very smart very clean place and staff very helpful and friendly. I had the gluten free cod and chips it was lovely and hubby had non gluten free fish chips he to enjoyed.it. We sat inside and the food was brought to us. Its so nice to know that they understand the importance of gluten free theres plenty of signs showing gluten free and even a menu on the wall.There's plenty of parking so we definitely visit again.
