Absolutely fantastic night out. Being tapas it’s great to get quite a few things and share them so you don’t waste a dish if you’re not too keen on it. Food was hot, fresh and tasted amazing. Service was great until we received desert menus and then had to wait 20 mins to order the desert but the place was packed out.

My partner and I have been to Everest Dine four times in a fortnight. We keep coming back to try more of the menu because it's all so delicious. The staff are professionals and give the right balance of attention without being invasive. The food really makes this place though. (Try the Momo)

I really can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to do a review of The Clarence. This astounding cafe/bar was a surprisingly late find for us; we didn’t go in for quite a long time, and in hindsight, this was a huge mistake because it’s amazing.

The venue is perfect with a large outside seating area, while the inside has a mixture of comfy seats, tables and booths. It’s spacious but also feels cosy and the decor and lighting are trendy without being pretentious. Because it’s an old bank, they have retained the original vault, which can be reserved for small group events and is very cool. It’s already on my shortlist of places to hide out in the event of a zombie apocalypse!

The Clarence does a wide variety of drinks including a varied range of excellent cocktails. There is a fancy drink to cater to everyone’s taste and they are all made with love by their wonderful staff, their 2 for £14 cocktail deal is a bargain for drinks of such quality. They have a great selection of beers and wines, and if you are so inclined, you can also purchase hot or cold soft drinks!

Their coffee and cake deal deserves a special mention, at only £5 it’s probably the best deal of this kind in Hinckley, I’m obsessed with cakes and brownies, and their selection is exceptional and at this price it’s great for the bank balance - however, slightly less kind on the waistline.

The Clarence are partners with Pane & Gusto. Run by two of the most wonderful human beings that you will ever meet who will cook you authentic and super tasty Italian food to order. This is food cooked with love, and you can literally taste it! Food of this quality would be selling for triple the price in London & it’s exceptional quality. I often just ask to be ‘surprised’ and I have never been disappointed with what I have received. Highly recommended food.

The Clarence also hosts regular live events including pizza making, live music, bottomless brunches, drag bingo & movie nights. We’re really spoiled for choice, and every event we’ve been to has been brilliant with a buzzing, friendly atmosphere.

A venue would be nothing without the people who run it, and The Clarence is exceptionally well catered for here. It’s starts from the top: the amazing Lisa sets the tone - she’s just fantastic and so welcoming, making everyone who visits feel like a superstar. You can tell she genuinely loves The Clarence, it’s staff and all of its patrons. Every single member of the Clarence team that I have had interactions with are wonderful, they make it a pleasure to visit every single time. It’s like a wonderful family where everyone gets on and is having a fantastic time!

I might have been late to The Clarence wagon train, which was a mistake on my part, so if you have yet to visit, please do and become part of The Clarence family!

Booked a table for 20 at a he sumac for a 50th celebration. We had the best night! Every meal was perfect, the servers were attentive and friendly. Every one said how beautiful their meals were the house special is the business. And they also gave me a beautiful Turkish rug because I loved it !!! If I could give 11/10 I would, thank you for a memorable night last be the dingley party x

Visited for the first time and were incredibly well looked after, if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch in and around Hinckley this is the place to visit. The brekkie is superb and coffee so much better than the big chains. If you think about Starbucks with its overpriced coffee, filthy tables and unbothered staff and compare with Stockwells it’s worlds apart. Nice touch today too, we had 4 coffees in total and on leaving were handed a loyalty card with the 4 coffees stamped. It’s the little things that count.

Fancied an Indian and googled my nearest one to where I was and came up with this little gem of an Indian was not disappointed for starters. I had onion badges lovely and crispy and for a main I ordered chicken tikka Dakin with special rice and a peshwari Nan.
All for £16.95 off the set meals for one which was for a starter main meal and one or the other rice or bread. I got the nan add as an extra for £3.50
So for the price of £20.45 without a drink you won’t be disappointed.

Sorry for the half eaten pics but I was starving lol?

A little gem in Hinckley serving great ales, ciders and lagers in a unique environment.
Veltins on tap in the UK is a rarity but it is without doubt the best pint in town - and at under £4 a pint, one of the cheapest.
The selection of cask ales changes but no one ever complains and there's always Bass on - and "a damn fine pint" it is according to a good mate of mine

Great little restaurant that serves stunning food. There can be a an issue with the language barrier sometimes, but it all adds to the experience.
Well worth a visit.

The staff were really friendly, the food is decent and there is a fantastic display of Triumph engines and memorabilia on display. There is plenty of parking specifically for motorcycles and a good sized area outside in addition to the inside seating.

Amazing pub, Tina and Olivia are so so friendly and always make me feel welcome. The first time I came in I was welcomed with open arms by them both and all of thr regular customers. Because of this I now come in this pub 3-4 times a week. Love the atmosphere, and there is never a dull moment in here. Love making memories with tina and Olivia and all thr other customers. Came in today, the service was lovely. We ordered chips, pukka pie, sausage and I'm dieting so ordered a greek salad.

I wouldn't opt for the salad again as it was basically onion and lettuce with olive oil and cost me £4.50, the rest was nice and reasonably priced :)

absolutely fantastic place, the food, the ambience & the staff all go towards making this place the success that it is. One very small thing, I do think it should be clearer that you're not allowed to bring in soft drinks. I took a can of tonic to go with my friends gin & was quite sharply told off! I understand the BYOB policy, but I've searched everywhere & can find no mention of this. Maybe it could be made clearer to avoid an awkward situation happening to anyone else. Apart from that 10/10

My wife and I have been coming to the corner cafe every weekend for the last 2 years, never had any issues, staff always pleasant, food always great, and price wise I don't think it's over priced at all, get in early on a weekend to avoid busy times as this is a busy popular cafe and rightly so

Outstanding, and I'm finicky about fish and chips.
Superb hadock freshly fried for me with copious chips (I told them to put half back - way too big a portions for me) the best I've had since visiting coastal towns in the North East. I've market it on my maps and next time I'm in the area (December) I'll be there for lunch.
Worth every penny, and that's saying something these days. Parked outside, no problem.

We visited here as a family expecting an authentic Indian food, trust me we were not disappointed at all. Food was outstanding, every dish we had was prepared with love and care as such it tasted so good and we wanted to order every dish from the menu. Added bonus to this is the service. Nothing was too much for the 7H Spices front of house team. Pothi Raj manager/owner of the restaurant was so humble and reached out to every table ensuring customers satisfaction and that was very warm to see. Overall, excellent food, service and we will certainly be visiting again and again!
