The Bell Burton Overy
Main St, Burton Overy, LeicesterAn accidental find and a place you simply have to eat at. For 8 years I’ve taken driving lesson candidates on lessons all over Leicester. I have been past a number of places on my travels and said to myself “I’ll eat there one day” That one day finally came and I’m so glad I went in. The food is superb and the front of house team are willing and so friendly. The chef loves the food he puts out and you can tell. You can eat there now and thank me later. Sunday lunch is fabulous. Themed nights there too and a big space for parties and wedding catering.

Fox Pond - Pub & Grill
Glen Rise, Oadby, LeicesterIt was midweek, so not overly busy. The food was great (mixed grill) and the staff were nice and friendly. Child friendly as well, and we were given the TV remote to put on some kids TV to keep the son entertained ?

19 High St, Great Glen, LeicesterWe had dad's wake at the pub and it was just right. Reasonable price, really good food and lovely staff. Dad would have said it was a 'proper pub' which it definitely is.
