Harborne, BirminghamAttended a work colleague’s leaving get together at the place. Spent the entire evening in the beer garden area. The staff were very friendly and professional. There were a good choice of beers on tap. The Guinness there was excellent. Great place to have a good beer,food and no music blasting. Good open conversations between the people at the pub.Kid-friendliness: Allowed kids in the beer garden with accompanying adults, till 10pm

The Bulls Head Abbots Oak
Warren Hills Rd, CoalvilleA very enjoyable visit to the Bulls Head this afternoon. After enjoying the sun in the beer garden, Philippa managed to get us a table ( last minute) in the restaurant. She was friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for her. The food was fabulous and would definitely recommend the flatbreads!

They support the small local village with constant events which they put on out of their own pockets and support and organise the local music festivals which are also held for charity.(this year for Rainbows in Loughborough.It is fully dog friendly and they have just started their own food menu supported by their chef Marco.They have drinks available to suit everyone's budget along with a great choice of food.Regular weekend entertain is provided along with free pool and darts on certain nights of the week.They hold monthly quiz and poker tournaments each month, which is supported not just by the locals but people travelling a good few miles to come and enjoy their hospitality.This place could not have better Landladies running the pub.Wheelchair accessibility: ramp access to both the pubs main bars and also access to the large rear fenced garden.

They don't take card payments. They make you order online when in the shop....

51 High St, Enderby, LeicesterCalled in on a Friday lunch time after recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Lovely little old fashioned pub with friendly and welcoming staff. We had a sandwich each, wife had prawn and I had beef and stilton, on brown bread. Both delicious and will certainly be having again. Just a bit of info for those wanting to eat here, food only served Wednesday to Saturday, 12 00 to 14 00.

Called in randomly whilst taking a relative out for the day and found this cosy little pub with car park and great beer garden for children. We decided to have the carvery with a choice of three meats and/or pie plus self-service all you could eat vegetables and potatos which were all cooked to perfection. Combine this with the fantastic service from the lad serving the carvery, Evie, Heidi and Grace made this a pub we will deffo return to! ??

The Grn, Thringstone, CoalvilleI've been buying fish & chips from Ruby's for decades. They're [usually] the best fish & chips by a country mile. But last night I had THE worst fish & chip supper I've ever had, and it was from Ruby's.The cod was inedible, the batter heavy & spongy, and the chips hard & dry. I don't know if they've changed their supplier, changed their oil, maybe they reheated stuff that had been sitting around a while - I have no clue what caused it, but I do know we've managed to consume a full sleeve of indigestion tablets between us in the past sixteen hours.Fish & chips is a treat for us, we only have it occasionally. Unfortunately, after last night, it might be a while before we have it again. And not sure we'll get them from Ruby's. Honestly, the fish & chip ready meal from M&S is better.

2 Belvoir Rd, CoalvilleThe service at the Snibston is impeccable, with an array of different drinks and always a friendly face to serve. All the staff are welcoming, wonderful women, even if you visit the pub alone, you feel part of the family.
It’s a safe family pub, with a great nightlife as well. There’s always music playing that matches the ambiance, whether it’s a quiet game of dominoes, tucked away in the corner booth or front and centre stool with a view of the world passing by outside and the dancing queens inside. There’s also a pool table which takes contactless payment, a spacious outside area and the pubs dog friendly! 100% recommend.
