The Ancient Oak is a friendly pub with good food. The manager has been in charge for a long time and maintains a good selection of real ale. Meals, including the roast, are always fine, but some dishes may require improvement, such as the roast potatoes. The staff are lovely and provide nice service in a pleasant atmosphere, although some may seem stressed. It has ample seating, free parking, and EV charging.
