502 Garstang Rd, Broughton, PrestonOur second time at The Broughton Inn, the first experience wasn't great but thought we would give it another go for a second chance since it's fairly local to us. It was a bad experience start to finish, despite the booking for a table of 8 a while ago it wasn't on the system. Understably drinks were sold out, that's fine its christmas but there was multiple meals unavailable, after making our orders to be told some of these also wasn't available. Being a table of 8 ordering starters and mains we said to the waitress do you not need to write it down? to which she replied " no i have a really good memory ". Then we was made to feel bad when she came back to write down our orders again as so much had changed despite it being their fault as the meals we ordered were not available. The young waitress serving at dinner time today has a serious attitude problem and really needs to work on her customer service skills. We actually joked about them running out of food and telling us mid meal when everyone else had theirs. Then we was told that one meal had basically been forgotten! including coming back to take drinks order when we was waiting. My meal was dry and not the best, even my 4 year old commented how dry her chicken was on our way home. A mistake or two is fine, we are human but this has to be the worst meal out to date and it was a celebratory occasion too, such a shame.
