Thus is the second time thst we visited Eden. The five of us went for the "one while you wait and two tapas" menu and then shared them between us. The food was excellent once again, the food came out hot and the flavours of each of the individual dishes were superb.
We could not fault it. A very clean restaurant with clean toilets. Staff were cheerful and happy to help. We will be back!

We went to your restaurant on Saturday for a special occasion lunch the service was perfect , the food was sublime and the knowledge and enthusiasm of your Sommelier so much added to the enjoyment of the whole afternoon. It was recommended as a dog friendly place to grab food and coffee and it was great for that. There are a few places to choose food from, from the ones I tried the crispy squid was really good, as was the salmon pizza. The Singapore noodles were technically not Singapore noodles, but it was a nice dish anyway. Coffee good too and many little shops around.

We had a family birthday meal for 14 people. The food was really nice, the service was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to book again for a a large group.

Dietary restrictions: I'm coeliac so I am gluten free. The menu clearly states the items which are gluten free and the ones which can be adapted on request and there is pleanty of choice. They asked prior to taking the order if there were any allergies or dietary requirements for the group.

Was looking for a quick takeaway as the 3 kids were starving. The pizza's and the loaded fries were cooked fresh in front of us, and took less than 8 minutes to be cooked, boxed, and ready to go. Great service, and lovely food.

Excellent as always & a special shout-out to Sommelier Grace We returned to The Barn for lunch today. Excellent as always - the combination of great food, flawless service and relaxed atmosphere is a joy. We have to give a special shout-out to Sommelier Grace today. Great advice and information for today's selections, as previously. The extra mile today was offering to jot down a couple of recommendations following her recent trip to the Douro and Porto which we'll be visiting shortly. In spite of a busy service, before leaving we received a note with some tips on wineries, port lodges and restaurants. Star quality, thank you Grace - and, of course, thanks to the rest of the team at The Barn, too. We'll see you again in due course.

Is a busy little place and I can tell why. It's absolutely delicious. It's our 3rd visit and always just manage to grab a table before it's full. Went for the special this time, hoisin duck wrap with salt and pepper fries. Looked a bit pricer than you'd think on the menu but when it came, oh my. Was filled to the brim with duck and the fries were delicious too. Never been disappointed here, always busy and bustling and attentive helpful staff.
Wonder what I'll have on visit 4 as we'll definitely be back.

We ate here twice during our weekend stay in Mawdesley having the Chippy Tea on the Friday evening and a Roast on Sunday. Food is stunning (hearty portions too!). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beer great. Lovely locals pub with a great vibe. Will definitely return when in the area.

Lovely place, visited twice in JULY 24, food is excellent & fresh. Both visits had NO CHICKEN, but plenty of other choices......... BEAUTIFUL DECOR & ATMOSPHERE.
The only negative on SUNDAY 28th was one member of staff on her mobile phone, so service was poor due to her distraction device.......was going to leave a good tip, but tips are for excellent service.

First time at Hayfield, and I was really impressed with the welcome and service that we received from Jess and her staff. We were a party of 16 for my Mothers 80th, although it was multiple orders, the staff insured we all had our meals together. All enjoyed their meals. I would certainly recommend a visit, and a final thanks to Jess and her staff for making our Mums 80th a memorable one for all. Thanks.

Wife and I tried The Edge for the first time during a visit to Ormskirk as we’d heard good things about it and it was great! Very good service and the food was excellent. We both had a steak baguette and mine was the best steak baguette I’ve had anywhere. Soft, warm baguette, tender steak, fried onions and mushrooms and topped with melted Stilton. It was simply divine and, accompanied by a BIG, strong pot of tea for two, was the perfect lunch! We are definitely going back the next time we are in Ormskirk.

Wheelchair accessibility: If parking at the front there is easy access. I meet my 90yr old father here as he can only walk 10 steps and cant do stairs so it's ideal
