Service was very friendly, efficient and competent.
Ordered the Sunday beef roast, Cumberland ring in a Yorkshire with mash and the breakfast bap.
Three empty plates say it all. Good value for money as well. Would highly recommend.
Great selection of real ales on tap as well.

Absolutely delighted with my meal at the Ship Hotel Overton. The lamb shank, cooked to perfection by Little Matt, was exceptional. The spring onion mash was light and creamy, and the generous portion of vegetables was a wonderful complement. Highly recommended!

had the 2 course midweek special, I had prawn cocktail, got loads of prawns and hubby had bbq chicken which he said was good, both had carvery which was tasty and better Yorkshires than what we've had lately. we had the best server than we've ever had there, her name was Jack's. very friendly, pleasant, attentive even though they were busy. also the lady that checked us in was very nice, didn't get her name but she was a supervisor. well done guys!

Beautiful Thai food. Me and my partner both had the Massaman curry and we were wishing we had more!

My only thoughts on this place is that I think it needs to pick a vibe. Looks like a takeaway from the outside, then looks like an old pub on the inside. They’re also serving from two different menu’s which is never a good idea but overall the food was great and if I was ever in the area again I would come back!

We stumbled upon this place whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch, it’s just set back on a side road from the main road along the promenade, the building looked really presentable so we took the tiny detour to check it out, it was well worth the thirty second walk, the guys working in there were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and advised us of the menu choices, I asked for a drink that they do not usually serve and they quickly went to their other premises to grab the required ingredients, the food we ordered was fantastic and the place was as clean as you could ever wish for, all in all we had a great time in there and they even packaged up the leftovers for us in a take away box to enjoy later on. Top mark all around, we highly recommend!

They turned the music off and played happy birthday for our daughters cake coming out. Bowling alley is really nice. Much better than some bigger places. The place is clean and the staff were lovely. It’s over an hour wait time for delivery, but as soon as you order it does say they’ve added a delay to the order.It’s the only place in the area I know that does popcorn chicken and chicken gravy.

The Midland Hotel

An excellent, if expensive, experience. The hotel was built in the 1930s in an exuberant art-deco style, used as a hospital during WWII, then (possibly in ths 1950s) fell into disusw and disrepair. In 2009 fhe place was renervated with sympathy for its art-deco heritage. The rooms are stylishly designed and quite unusual. It's a worthwhile experience.

Rooms: Unusual and stylish

Nearby activities: Lancaster is just around the corner and it's called The Gateway to The Lake District for a reason.

Food and drinks: Pretty good. Not as posh a menu as I remember from pre-Covid times but the quality is pretty rsasonable.

Noteworthy details: The famous carving of Odysseus welcomed from the sea by Nausicaa, the painted medallion overlooking the central circular staircase, the seahorse statues... see the midlandhotel.org website.

An excellent family run local restaurant. I had the fish and chips my wife had the scampi. Both were absolutely delicious, especially after a couple of hours walking on Morecambe front. The staff were welcoming and friendly and service was just right, not rushed but not slow either. Also had the strawberry milkshake as well. One of the best I’ve tasted!
Take away is available but I’m not sure if it’s just cakes and lite bites.
So walk a little out of town (not too much) sit down, eat, enjoy the view and support local.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, they let me know all about the Burger King app which gives me offers on different meals.

My partner is vegan, and once again staff were very knowledgable and able to explain which oils the food was cooked in and whether or not they shared oil with any meat product.

Food is consistently good and served quickly. Restaurant itself is tidy and has plenty of seating.

Myself and two friends had Afternoon Tea today. 2 of us have Dietary requirements which were well catered for. The staff are fantastic, attentive and friendly and when our Afternoon Tea was bought over Steve explained the variety of cakes and sandwiches. A very good choice indeed. Two of us shared a huge pot of tea which was lovely and strong. The other choosing a Latte. Our whole experience was fantastic even the price, top marks all around.

Well I'm on holiday and catching up on my Google reviews. There are quite alot of Greggs reviews for me to do; that probably says more about me. Anyway, I give very few 5 star reviews but Greggs is excellent. The service is overall very friendly, the staff work hard and you know what you will get. I start work early so tend to have breakfast at Greggs in Bridgwater which is usually the bacon and sausage baguette with brown sauce and a latte, which costs about £3.30. Always great, I found out recently that for 40p ish more you can get additional fillings. Over the years I have probably had all products that Greggs has to offer and all have been good; obviously some better than others, but that's down to personal taste. I cant recommend Greggs enough; I'm lucky enough to have business expenses so I could go to Waitrose or M\\u0026S ect, but No, Gregg's breakfast deal wins every time. Well done to all the team that work there.

Came here on Friday lady was great to let us drop off our bags as it was too early to check in ....We came back later to go to our room which was very nicely laid out with big shower room and double bed...But tbh I thought the full breakfast was included in the room price which it wasn't & then had to pay for the cereals and tea which myself and the kids only had before checking out at 10am...The bed wasn't that comfortable for me and my daughter but the boys said they slept well.... The location is great if you do want to be near to all the action and a fantastic view of the Eric Morecambe statue and sunsets...

Walkability: Big promenade area to walk along and lots of bars cafes along the strip ...You can walk up and down alday and enjoy the views out over the bay ... Definitely a wow factor
