The Alston Pub & Dining
The Alston, Inglewhite Rd, Longridge, PrestonWe called in to The Alston on the way to our holiday accommodation and we were not disappointed. Great menu choice, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and the food was beautiful...all as fresh as a daisy and the 8 year old appreciated the free Wi-Fi.

Old Station Cafe
Old Station Buildings, Berry Ln, LongridgeThey were just on the changeover from breakfast to lunch, so we were told there would be a delay, but it was way longer than we were told and even waited a long time for a drink. The food was very good though

Towneley Arms
41 Berry Ln, Longridge, PrestonBusy pub which seems to have a welcoming atmosphere and a lively vibe at weekends. It has been refurbished since we last visited and is fresh and warm. Worth a visit. We didn't eat on this occasion.

The Bridge
114 Derby Rd, Longridge, PrestonThe bridge is a charming local cafe that I support whenever I'm in Longridge. The service is fast, the food is very fairly priced and I never have any issues when I attend.

The Derby Arms
Chipping Road, Longridge, PrestonCame for a meal. Gorgeous location and the decor and open fire is so welcoming. Lovely welcome from the staff. Bit of a pricy menu with steaks £30 each but decided to go for it. Was a bit disappointed if honest. We asked for both medium but the chef clearly didn’t get the message as both came rare. I don’t like returning food to kitchens and I’m not adverse to rare but both were really fatty so a lot of waste. We thought it was a big turn off to charge so much and get it so wrong. That being said we will return and try a different dish as everything else was lovely.
