7 Blackpool Rd, Kirkham, PrestonFor a Christmas Day twist, I had dinner at Buraq after booking a few weeks in advance. The service was very nice with attentive staff and despite a bit of a wait for dessert, I would highly recommend going here!

Dawson's Fish & Chips
4 Freckleton St, Kirkham, PrestonA real treat to come here when I'm visiting my parents in Kirkham. The chips taste better than anywhere and the fish is just perfection....really thick, juicy, fresh fillets. The batter as well.... elsewhere I'd usually order lightly battered to avoid the excessively oily stuff you normally get but at Dawsons even the thicker batter is good. Oh yeah, and the portion sizes are good as well. Large chips really are large chips.

48 Preston St, Kirkham, PrestonBrilliant service and fantastic drinks! Came in for the first time with friends and was greeted so nicely. Jack was so welcoming. I didn’t catch the lady behind the bars name but she was fantastic! Best pint of Guinness in the area by far!!!!

89 Poulton St, Kirkham, PrestonBlessed to have 2 really good Chinese takeaways in Kirkham. Always good quality food and good pricing too. Never had issues. Do have to deduct a star because they are not as flexible on allergens which is a shame as I would go to it more if it did.

Off Poulton St, Kirkham, PrestonI have been here several times for lunch and have never been disappointed the low-cost yet tasty food is excellent value and there is a good selection.
My only quibble, and it is an irritant, when seeking Wi-Fi why are you expected to provide your email, who is willingly going to volunteer for spam !
Come on Morrisons, in this day and age when Wi-Fi is free and unencumbered even on buses your customers expect better, we are not fools.

95-105 Poulton St, Kirkham, PrestonI didnt get her name but there was a pretty blonde working the counter, she was smiling and very welcoming, even though there was a menu she was very on the dot, very quick and bright, it was really nice because i had actually said i was shocked by how spicy the sub i ordered was and she had offered to put mayo on, which was really nice, you dont seem to get service like this anymore! Brilliant! Food was great ! Best subway ive been to :) give her a raise !
