The Park Hotel
1 Harwood Ln, Great Harwood, BlackburnVisited today for a meal with my fiancé and daughter, the landlady and bar staff were incredibly accommodating, the food impeccable and the atmosphere of the pub along with the fantastic beers on offer made our night something really special. It was our first family meal in about 4 months and we are extremely happy we chose The Park and was an amazing first impression of the establishment. Special thanks to the landlady who brought over a cup of marshmallows for my daughter when she wouldn't eat her ice cream to ensure she had some dessert she would eat ? also thanks to the barmaid who filled her bottle too, very much recommend The Park and the bar team are fantastic!

The waiters and waitresses are always friendly, polite, dutiful and always make time to check everything is to our pleasing. The restaurant decor is what I consider authentic Italian with checkered tablecloths and then various paintings, pictures pots, pans and bottles adorning the walls. The pizzas and garlic breads are tasty and the pollo Milanese is second to none. It’s pretty much guaranteed the wife will have the meatballs starter as it’s her favourite. For mains tonight she had lasagna which she throughly enjoyed. We really enjoy it here and visit at least 3 times a month with either just ourselves or with the daughter and grandson.
Parking: Parking adjacent on a parking lot with approximately 13-15 spaces. We’ve never had trouble finding a spot on here even when the restaurant has been busy.

Towngate Pizza

The pizzas appear to always be made with care and attention, I can see the individual ingredients on the toppings and it just looks nicely arranged, not just thrown on top of the base.I typically order for delivery and my food always arrives nice and hot and earlier than the estimated time even though I am a fair distance from the shop. Never had a wrong order from them and the drivers are always friendly and polite.

I had a full breakfast, which consisted of: 2 hash Browns, 2 bacon, 2 toast, sausage, fried egg and baked beans. My wife just fancied chips and gravy and her sister had the cheese and spring onions toasty, all very tasty. Enjoy
