Lockdown Burger

Still the best burger in town now in a lovely high street dine in location. Had a nice chat with Harry, a very warm and friendly waiter. A must try is the corn ribs, if I had room I could have ordered those three times over.

Cosmopolitan

Gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and incredible staff. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!! Absolute value for money. Reji and maddie absolutely lovely and could not be more accommodating. Made our day! We did the bottomless brunch and 10/10 service

Frederick's Ice Cream

Wow... Fredrick Ice cream is "The Best" in UK. Lot of variety and unique flavours and blend of different delicious tastes.. yummy !!!

Parking: Well parking space is limited but one can park on street parking

The Cavendish Arms

We had an excellent meal and the service was 5*. My only comment is around the lighting temperature in the new extension part of the restaurant. The temperature of the lighting is quite cool, unlike the older parts of the pub, which, in my opinion, compromises the overall ambiance. Switch to a warmer bulb in this area and it would be lovely!

The Dressers Arms | Pub & Rooms

What a find this place is. We travelled from Worcester to Blackpool and then took the grandchildren Go Karting need by. Book a table for lunch time today 12/10/24. A busy place, lovely ambiance throughout and some fine real ales on tap. Great staff, shown to our table of 9, nice to see the reserved tab and the next booking for the table. Exceptional friendly staff, drinks and first class food. We will be back for sure, the place is very authentic the locals are very lucky to have it on their doorstep

Malthouse Farm Pub

Lovely tea. Mariangela was great welcoming and helpful. Food was very tasty and arrived fast considering we only ordered mains which can be a pain for chef. Will be back

Hartwood Hall - Pub & Grill

Food was absolutely amazing, I’m very fussy with my steaks but it was perfect first time, brilliant cut and cooked to perfection. Staff are amazing, big shoutout to pippa

Birkacre Restaurant/Cafe

The highlight of my trip was the food. I had a gorgeous halloumi and orange salad and it was so fresh and tasty. The halloumi was chunky and really well griddled. A really good cup of tea too - not a guarantee when out! We sat outside in the sunshine and it was most pleasant.

I went here to watch wigan in the grand final, they've got 3 decent sized tv's if you want to go and sport in there and it's cheap ? good bar!

Kid-friendliness: If you have children I did notice kids playing pool and they also let them order pizzas ?

Yew Tree Inn

We stopped off here after a walk. The pub is nicely decorated and is dog friendly. We had a drink and a main meal. The staff were friendly and our meal was nice.

Lord Nelson Pub

Been here a few times now . always on a Sunday. great atmosphere . cozy pub . the Sunday lunch is the best I have ever had . excellent value and cooked to perfection . Make sure you book

Shepherds' Hall Ale House & Victoria Rooms

On Tuesday 28th December, I visited this unique real ale den
The bar had a great choice of handpumed delicious ales on offer
There is a serving hatch opposite the bar, which is unique
The pub has a nice frontage and a wooden floor room at the front, which I sat in
The staff and customers in this place are all really polite and helpful
But when the beer is sorted in the cellar, beware of the hole in the front room

Again, we came to this fantastic pub it had as on my last visit a really good choice of exquisitely interesting hand pumped real ales .
This pub is a pub with 2 bars and entrances to it the interior of both bars are the same as my last visit.
This pub, when in Chorley drinking real ale, is an essential visit

The Astley Village Inn

2 of my friends and I visited the Astley on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year (28th December, 24). The carvery was on and on inspection it looked great value for the money (£12.95 per person). The food was bang on and there was sooo much choice as well as the fact you could go and replenish your plate as many times as you wanted. The chap serving the meat on the carvery was lovely, very friendly and helpful, as was the young server to came to our table. All in all the food and service were great!

Absolutely lovely family, been here since I was a child and 30 years on its still as good as when I first tried it. The father and son team and so friendly, the whole waiting area is full of memories from when they first opened. Lovely to see their journey. The food was made on time and was hot. The curry and onion baji was to die for. I would highly recommend

The Queen Vic Fish &Chips (Chorley)

A great chippy, clean and fresh food and a nice indoor dining area and the portion sizes are huge. The lovely lady made my spicy curry sauce extra spicy and it hit the spot. Thankyou

J Seas Finest Fish and Chips.

Wow, just had 2 large fish and chips and they were the best ever!! Beef dripping, crispy batter, perfect fluffy chips and just all done to perfection. Definitely worth a visit. Seats out front were handy too, sat in the evening sun, delightful.

Gwok Hing English & Chinese Takeaway | Fish & Chips

Food seems to be good one night then not so good on another. Maybe different workers on shift. But that girl on the till always seems rushed off her feet. Possible she needs more time off and more hugs of appreciation.

Spinners Arms

My wife and I recently took our disabled daughter here for her birthday meal, and while we were grateful for the staff's helpfulness in accommodating us despite our late arrival, our dining experience did not meet our expectations.
To start, I ordered the king prawns in a thin milky chilli sauce. Unfortunately, the prawns were overcooked and tough, which made them less enjoyable than I had hoped. For our main course, we all opted for the beef stroganoff. Regrettably, the beef was similarly tough and chewy, making it difficult to enjoy. The sauce was disappointingly thin and lacked flavour, and the rice served alongside was watery, further detracting from the overall meal experience.
While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the quality of the food left much to be desired. I hope this feedback can help improve the dining experience for future guests.

Just had a takeaway special for one, choose your own curry and had an extra chips, good job I got it between me and the wife, there was loads.....enjoyed thankyou !!

Wanted to leave a more personal review on here for staff members Emma & Charli. We had an issue ordering on just eat with one of the drivers bringing the wrong order and refusing to rectify the situation but after contacting Starbucks directly and speaking with Emma the reassurance and customer service we received was outstanding! Re ordered the coffees received with a heart warming note & complimentary voucher as a good will gesture alongside an apology which was in no way their error but was humbly appreciated. I hope you get the recognition you deserve ahem pay rise ahem 5***

I came to this store to collect a too good to go bag and the member of staff who was working the night shift (15.9.24) loaded up my bag with all the extra foods that still hadn’t been sold. Nicest person I’ve encountered at a restaurant/food place.

This pub is a ptopper real Ale edwardian music pub that serves at least 5 real ales on hand pumps
Great pub great music and a must for real ale drinkers to visit when in Chorley

Massa's Dessert Cafe Bar

Lovely cafe, modern, friendly atmosphere, Frederick's ice cream served here, gluten free options on ice cream, cakes and food options, vegan options available too. Wheelchair friendly, toilets on site, located on the ground floor. Had ice cream, coffee and toast, great customer service and very efficient. Dog friendly, water and blankets available for customer use. Cafe well maintained and clean. Clean toilets. Would definitely recommend, thanks to all the staff today.

Spinners Arms

Nice local traditional pub, great open fire, staff who served us should be told not to hold glasses at top? Some of the locals dont seem to be too friendly to strangers getting served at the bar obstructing their seats, no vaping signs up but idiot sat near us got away with it openly.

Yu Hing Takeaway

Very nice food good quality and friendly staff recommend coming to here because this Chinese is the best takeaway I have ever had everyone get your food from here it’s amazing….

Parking: U can park over the road or there is a little car park at the side just to let all you guys and girls know
