The Plough at Eaves
Eaves Ln, Cuddy Hill, PrestonCosy and friendly atmosphere with a great choice of good quality food and drinks. Can fully recommend the Lancashire hotpot, cottage pie, and steak sandwich. Huge amount of parking round the back of the pub. Bottles of wine start at £20. Overall, great value for money.

Iced Bakes and Gifts
Moss Ln, PrestonI've been meaning to come to Iced Bakes for a while after seeing posts on Facebook. I took my sister who was down visiting for lunch. The cafe is small but has a fantastic homely feel to it. We ordered breakfasts, and wow, they were amazing. I had to treat myself to a cake on the way out because they looked delicious and I bought a bracelet which was made by the owners niece who's only 11. They have some lovely gifts in the cafe, reasonably priced. I highly recommend iced bakes you will not be disappointed

Roebuck
Garstang Rd, Bilsborrow, PrestonHi I have been to Roebuck many times as I stay locally in a b and b.Latest visit 09/03/24 .Food and service good. However presentation of drinks not good.Pink gin lemonade x 2 served in a large tumbler couldn't taste any gin.Complained received them then in small tumbler .Apparently only 1 gin glass in pub.Other than slice lemon no other fruit added.Brockmans ordered also in a large tumbler. Our 2nd night we planned to visit for cocktails, however a cocktail is special and nicely decorated. After pink gins gave it a miss.So disappointing .

Turners Fish & Chips
Garstang Rd, Bilsborrow, PrestonCame home after a long day, checked out Facebook and noticed Turners provide a delivery service. Ordered at 18:45, confirmation email received, confirmation email that my order was out for delivery and arrived when they said at 19:00. Food was hot and tasty, fish and chips is what I wanted and what I got. Excellent service, thank you.

Blooms Restaurant
The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre, PrestonReally nice tapas, well priced and just the right size and reasonably priced for £5.50. We had iced drinks which were good. The staff were friendly and accommodating and even suggested we move tables when a group of kids came in celebrating a birthday, so kudos for identifying the issue before we raised it.

Riverside Cafe & Willows Restaurant
Barton Grange Garden Centre, Garstang Rd, Brock, PrestonWow what a nice surprise! We ate in the riverside cafe and had the cheese & onion pie with veg, we wasn’t expecting much from it for £10.50, but it was one of the best ‘roasts’ I’ve eaten out! By far better than any carvery I’ve been too. The cakes looked amazing as well, such a large choice! To top it off you’ve got a gorgeous view of a river whilst eating and drinking coffee, 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning.

Owd Nells Canalside Tavern
St Michael's Rd, Bilsborrow, PrestonHalloumi chunky fries in breadcrumbs, garnished with mixed salad, cranberry and a slice of lemon with a side plate of fried potato. Go at evening in the round room, a little electric train runs around above your head, the subdued light g is relaxed and comfortable. We food the food to be of a high standard and recommend going there. Outside, is the canal and the lighting around the building is romantic. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
