Absolutely perfect full English. Exactly what it’s supposed to be. Food came piping hot, nothing too fancy or trying to be something it’s not. Honestly one of the best full English I’ve had for a long time. Staff are great, chefs can be seen cooking and they clearly care about what they’re serving. Can’t praise this place enough!

What an experience! There aren’t many pubs that will go the extra mile to meet your booking requests, but this one does—seating us at a cosy round table right next to a lovely, warm fire. This pub truly ticks every box. I’d brought my parents for their first visit tonight and they were mighty impressed.

Our evening started with a warm welcome from our excellent waiter, who personally greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our table. He was incredibly attentive throughout the evening, making sure everything was perfect. The ambience, with its soft lighting, background music, warmth, and inviting atmosphere, made it the kind of pub we could only dream of before tonight.

The food was outstanding, with a menu offering enough variety to satisfy without being overwhelming—so you know everything is freshly prepared. It’s well worth paying a little extra for food of this quality in such a cozy setting. This was my third visit in 12 months, and I travel all the way from Preston. It’s truly my favorite pub.

I had the prawn pil pil starter, the duck for my main, and finished with the crumble of the day, all washed down with two pints of Cruzcampo and a glass of white wine. My mum had the sea bass, my fiancé enjoyed steak frites (which came as a thick, almost fillet-like cut), and my dad had the fish and chips—something I’ve had before and highly recommended to him. He was thrilled, especially with the proper chips!

Thank you, White Bull, for being so accommodating and for consistently delivering such a fantastic experience on this autumnul evening.

Me and the wife have been here twice now. Once with just the two of us and once with the grandson as well. They do a pretty decent pizza and garlic bread (the only thing my grandson tends to eat when we are out ? ) and the chicken fillet burger was excellent. On our first visit the wife did mistake the hot sauce for ketchup and despite my warning to try it separately first she just looked me dead in the eye and said “Kiel, it’s ketchup!” and proceeded to put on her chips. A decision she regretted quite quickly and led to me probably looking a little smug. On our next visit with the grandson she made sure she asked ?

id give this place 10 starts if i can. went here for mothers day on Sunday and wow was this place amazing, all the staff are lovely. we ordered both the lamb and chicken bhuna, the lamb jalfrezi and the chicken madras were all very delicious and the meat was nice and tender. i was able to speak to the owner while waiting and he was dead nice.

will be visiting again soon!

First time trying Tap Select and I will be going back. The food was good, usual pub stuff, burgers and pizza etc. Plenty of it to, so don't order too much!

Had viewed the menu online and liked the look of the 2 and 3 course set menu which runs all day Sunday to Wednesday. 2 courses are £14.95 and 3 courses £17.95. We visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. Very quiet when we arrived so we had the pick of where to sit.

I opted for the 3 course option and went for the rump steak which attracted a supplement of £2.00. My fellow diner went for 2 courses. For staters I had the Black Pudding Stack and my fellow diner went with the Loaded Nachos. Both were enjoyable. A good start to the meal. For mains we had ordered the Rump Steak al Pepe and Cheese and Onion pie. We both chose to have these with vegetables of the day.

The pie and the chips that came with it did look a little burned but they tasted fine. My steak was excellent. Rump steak is not normally something I order. Rump can often be quite tough. I prefer sirloin but this piece was cooked perfectly. I asked for medium rare and it was juicy, moist, very tasty and a good sized piece. The pepper sauce covering the steak was also excellent. A nice kick to it without being any way over powering. A good portion of evenly cooked fries. Everything on the plate was piping hot. And I loved the veg. Carrot, parsnips and broccoli. Slightly undercooked and a bit hard but I like my veg like that. My only complaint was I wish it had been a bigger portion as I was enjoying the veg so much.

Choice for dessert were a bit limited with only 3 options. I went for the Chocolate Cookie and Cream Cake. It was okay. Nothing wrong with it but it wasn’t really to my taste.

My fellow dinner had a cappuccino to finish which he said was excellent and was only £2.50.
Service was also excellent. Our server was called Rebecca. Friendly, helpful and good natured. Even though the bar area had got busier she came over several times to check if everything was ok.

A few small gripes would be limited choice of desserts on the set menu. And lack of any information on the wines they serve. They had 4 whites and 4 reds and 3 roses. Prices starting at £18.00 a bottle which is very reasonable in this day and age. Always good to see a range of wines under twenty quid. But a little information on the menu about country of origin and ABV would be nice. I went with a Rioja at £18.00 which went very well with my steak.

So a few very minor things to moan about but overall very happy and impressed with our meal here. Good portion size, very tasty and exceptional value for money along with very friendly service. Will almost certainly be visiting this establishment again in the not too distant future.

Parking: Large, free car park to the side. It asks that you log your registration at the bar when you go in but we were told there was no need. Probably because it was a quiet lunch time early in the week.

Wheelchair accessibility: Looked ok accessibility wise for anyone in a wheelchair. No steps or lip on doors into the building and plenty of tables to choose from on the flat.

My husband and I had such a lovely meal here this evening. I had the beef stroganoff and it was possibly one of the nicest meals I've had, outstanding! My husband enjoyed every mouthful of his steak pie, followed my sticky toffee pudding. The waitresses upstairs were polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The only negative is that we live to far away to come here regularly!

I didn't eat at the pub but two ladies asked at the bar if they did pie and peas and they were provided with them. I have eaten when I have attended a do in the function room and the food as always been excellent. Its a lovely relaxed pub that gets lots of different people in, some with dogs some with children, walkers etc. The bar staff are always friendly and attentive.Kid-friendliness: As long as your children aren't feral, they are made very welcome. The pub even has some child friendly games to play whilst your there and in the summer, a lovely beer garden with a small climbing frame, slide etc

What a find, after seeing the signpost many times we decided to try the Village Chippy in Hapton. What a pleasant surprise to have delicious fish and scrummy chips served fresh and hot. My wife and I have been regular visitors since Cafe B's opened. It's unique in bringing together people from all over hyndburn. The dinning are is compact and always lively. The food is popular Hyndburn grub. Prepared by Cathy and her team each one a very good cook and they always prepare excellent food. It's a great place to visit but if you can't get in or want breakfast in bed you can ring the shop or order via just eats. They' deliver all over Hyndburn. Cafe B's is a top eatery and we recommend it.

Vegetarian options: Staff are very accommodating. My wife is a vegetarian.

Parking: On street parking on both sides of the road and adjacent streets.

Last night I had a spicy paneer mossala and it was genuinely the best curry I’ve ever had, and I’m a verified curry lover!!

We ordered 2 milkshakes for collection and were unable to go inside as it was very cold. We asked the man if someone could bring it out to the car and they were very accomodating. Took payment from the car and the drinks were out shortly after. We ordered one Thirsty Feast and one milkybar milkshake. The presentation was 10/10 and the milkshakes were delicious. Would definitely order again. Such chivalry.

Kid-friendliness: I would definitely bring my niece's and nephews to this dessert place. The staff are very accomodating to children.
