The food is always fresh, with great portion sizes at a reasonable price. The staff are all super friendly, welcoming and go above and beyond to help with anything you need. This is definitely a firm favourite for us and we recommend it to everyone.

75 High St, TenterdenNice restaurant, quite busy, but the service was still efficient. The food was really good. The red wine we chose was a Nero D'avola—unfortunately, not great value for money, but that's the case everywhere. The restroom was clean, which gives a good indication of hygiene in the kitchen too!

The Latte Lounge
Unit 2-3, Coombe House, Coombe Ln, TenterdenWe got the Latte Lounge to do the catering for my Nans funeral. We chose the "End of life" cold buffet. It was absolutely spot on, delicious sandwiches, gorgeous savoury pastries, scotch eggs and more.... All freshly homemade. There was plenty to feed everyone! The amount of people that commented on how fabulous the food tasted (which was many) was the result of the professionalism of Sharen and her team. Thank you for taking care of us xx

Truffles at Coco
128 High St, TenterdenThis is a credit to Tenterden. Lovely welcoming owners and staff. The hand made truffles are delicious. The large range of delicious bars are great for gifts for all occasions and just to treat ourselves. Would recommend calling in for coffee and and their hot chocolate is the best!

Special shout out to Kane on Pizza’s. So popular with everyone. Also Burger truck ‘Bun Buddies’ there on the night were excellent

2n6 Sweet Shop
26 Ashford Rd, Tenterden2n6 sweets is such a great shop with a fantastic selection of sweets. They also host really fun parties. My daughter had her 10th Birthday party there and she had the best time, they each made a wreath out of their chosen pick and mix sweets. Sarah made the girls feel so welcome and the experience really special and a whole lot of fun!

1a-1b High St, TenterdenHats off to the completely lovely Barrista who managed to be friendly, ultra helpful in an utterly unpatronising way - I had issues with my phone-made a perfect flat white and seemed unflappable despite appearing to be the only member of staff front of house at 10.50 today.
He steadily worked through the queue of customers and seemed as charming and obliging with everyone.
What a gem! He truly made my visit here.
Oh and the coffee was just fine too.

Hoof & Hook Tenterden
43 High St, TenterdenThe Hoof & Hook is Situated in the heart of the historic town of Tenterden in the middle of the High Street in the building that was formerly Café Rouge.
It has had a complete makeover, not just in its appearance but also the menu.
The food is absolutely excellent, very high quality and beautifully presented.
I had a "Hoof Classic" burger with fries and it was was delicious, cooked to perfection and the portion size was spot on. Probably one of the best burgers I have had in years, it consisted of two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles, cheese and bacon all served in a really nice bun (sorry I missed the photo).
My mother had the King Prawns (pictures attached), she said that they were probably the best King Prawns she had ever had.
The service was outstanding and our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend the Hoof & Hook.
10 out of 10 guys and keep up the excellent work, looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

The Lemon Tree
29-33 High St, TenterdenPretty little pub where we ordered a full English bfast and eggs, both of which were tasty. The place was cozy and old-fashioned. One star removed because the small eats ‘available all day’ we were informed brusquely was not available before 11:30! They need to rewrite some of their stuff. Like the description of rich hot chocolate. We got a pale liquid that looked more watery milk than chocolate. When we asked if there could be more chocolate in it they said, nope only one powder sachet per mug, but we could have more milk if we wanted! ?
