1 Cattle Market, SandwichEasily the best bag of chips I've eaten anywhere recently. Perfection.
Babylon potatoes from a local Kent farm apparently. Beautifully cooked, floury, fantastic.
As I told the guys behind the counter, well worth the £ 27 rail fare that took us down to that part of the Kent coast from London.

Luigi's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria
3 The Quay, SandwichWir waren sehr angetan von der freundlichen Bedienung und der netten Atmosphäre. Von außen recht unscheinbar hat das Restaurant definitiv mehr im Laden als im Schaufenster. Es gibt echte italienisch zubereitete Speisen und die Pizza ist hervorragend. Auch der rote und weiße Hauswein sind sehr empfehlenswert. Faire Preise für Essen und Getränke.

Portion sizes were generous
Staff was very friendly and welcoming
Prices were very good!
Menu had a wide selection of food to choose from and also drinks!
I would most definitely return and recommend!

Das Besitzer-Pärchen sind sehr nett.
Zum Essen: macht nicht den Fehler und bestellt die Grillplatte für 2 Personen, wenn ihr nur zu zweit seid.
Die packt ihr nicht;)
Hat alles hervorragend geschmeckt.

Cattle Market, SandwichThis quintessential little place is a must on a journey into Sandwich. A busy hub selling fresh grounded coffee, which is their own brand, I may add, to small bites and a food menu that really tackles your taste buds. With staff that welcome you with a smile, what isn't there to like about this amazing business? Located opposite the Guildhall, you can literally get off a bus and walk straight in. Failing that, it's a short 5-10 minute walk from Sandwich train station.

We have not eaten in the restaurant yet but have collected food for takeaway several times and I am always impressed by the quality of the food. The restaurant always seems to have a good atmosphere and we will definitely come back to eat in!

17 Cattle Market, SandwichFab café! Been here a few times whilst visiting Sandwich from outside the area. Good choice of food and also offer gluten free which is great for me as I'm gluten intolerant and visited with a friend yesterday who has coeliac disease.
The food is lovely, well presented and good value. Staff are always polite & friendly. Also in a nice location by Guildhall and you can sit inside or out. My go-to café in Sandwich ?

Bell Hotel
The Quay, SandwichSecond time here and this time for the roast which was delicious! Everything so fresh and cooked to perfection. Portions are fab and prices to match, which is worth it. Deserts are lovely too. All of the staff really do make the experience even nicer, all checking on us to make sure we had whatever we needed or wanted. Kate looked us for the second time too :). First time we came we had the burger and sandwiches and again food amazing. Definitely will be returning over and over highly recommended.

The Toll Bridge Restaurant & Bar
7 Fishermans Wharf, SandwichWas looking forward to meal here after good reviews from others. Left a bit underwhelmed.
We have the smokehouse share combo. When served to other waiters took time to explain meat on platter. For some reason was not explained to us.
Part of the platter is lamb rib. Not cut I have had before and would avoid again. Very Fatty and more or less not edible. Feed back to waiter how said they had had similar feed back in past. Yet chefs do remove and they don't warn customer which I think they should. As result did get refund of round of drinks.
Not sure if I would eat her again or not.

Was super friendly and chatty. Really makes the atmosphere of the place. Whatever franchisee owns this place, at least get her a treat because you definitely don't do pay rises ?
