A good selection of drinks and an amazing tapas menu that Felipe VI (he’s the king of Spain by the way) would be envious of.

I phoned up asking when kitchen closed, they said around 30 min...I said could we have 2 steak and Ale pies plz and we'll be 15min...no problem they replied. The food was amazing...and the spotted dick and custard after was also lovely....I highly recommend this pub, staff excellent, food excellent ?? what more could you ask for ??

Popular & worth travelling for. Can pre-order online. Many positives as per the information displayed inside the shop; established decades ago, certified sustainable fish, selected locally grown potatoes, pays living wage, fully recyclable packaging, 5 star hygiene. The food quality is superior to other fish & chip shops. Therefore not the cheapest, but never disappointing. The shop appears clean and well kept. Friendly staff, good service.

Went there for lunch with an friend and the food was amazing. I had the halibut, I asked for chips instead of couscous and everything was perfect! Lovely atmosphere and great service! Will definitely be going there again!

Highly recommend! The food was amazing and at such a reasonable price. 2 for 1 on the pastas, I recommend the katsu chicken one. Between 2 of us we shared 3 slices of the pizzas, only £4-5 each, the dough is made fresh in house and you can tell, they were great! We had room to squeeze in a chocolate banana pizza between us, it was delicious. Staff are great and looked after us well, the bill all in all came to £40 which included 2 pints as well. Will definitely be back to try the burgers and fish and chips. Well done guys!

Very nice, cozy pub just off Harbour Street in Ramsgate Town centre. They have a Petanque (Boule) pitch ,mainly for matches and there own team who practice there daily. Shepherd and Neame pub with an excellent selection of beers. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome, we'll behaved ones. There is a small garden to enjoy the sun and your beer. If you are ever in Ramsgate it's well worth a visit, they open at 10am. Live music regularly!

I called into this lovely public house in Ramsgate yesterday it has a pool table, dartboard and gaming machines along with a beautiful outdoor garden space. The staff were welcoming and friendly whilst serving the clientèle with an array of beers, wines and spirits, there are several televisions catering for all manner of sports and other programmes, and has views of Ramsgate marina from the front of the premises. One to visit whilst in Ramsgate you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely top drawer. Having flitted through a couple of bang average Ramsgate boozers we were fortunate to find The Hovelling Boat Inn. What a gem! Superb selection of beers at decent prices. All the beers were very well kept and the table service was excellent. The pickled eggs were an unexpected highlight. Better still, the locals were welcoming and great fun we had a superb evening here and met some good people. (Saturday morning wasn't so good but...)If you are in Ramsgate and you like a proper, well done pub, get down to The Hovelling Boat Inn. You will not regret your decision.

This meal was a perfect treat! The food was fresh and full of flavours. I had the vegetable thali and chose a mix of 4 curries. The staff were happy to make my meal vegan. My boyfriend enjoyed the goan fish curry. The complimentary starters were such a treat and the overall experience made a perfect date. Please open a restaurant in London so I can come back!
