Chicken salad is lovely and brekkie is generous. Staff are really nice. I just don't bother with anywhere else now.

Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Hempstead, GillinghamAfter a bad experience a few years back I hadn’t been back since. We decided to give it another try tonight for our youngest son’s birthday. Myself, my partner, our 4 children and 2 other family members. My youngest son is non verbal autistic (but loud with noises and stimming). Couple of the children are fussy. Ellen was our server. Nothing was too much to ask for and with my sons special needs we wasn’t made to feel like a nuisance table or uncomfortable like we have done at other restaurants. Ellen allowed us to cater for the children’s fussiness (no sauce on spaghetti etc). Was good with the allergen information for my sister who is allergic to nuts. She was kind and attentive and she made our meal very enjoyable. I don’t usually leave reviews but based on our experience and how impressed we were I spoke with the manager to inform him how impressed we were and he gave me a card to leave feedback. Please pass on our thanks to Ellen, she is a true asset to your team :)
Also Chicken Piccante was amazing I swapped spirali for spaghetti and just wow.
P.s. Our daughter loved her food, she’s just an absolute sass ??♀️ ?
Kid-friendliness: 4 children, aged 7, 6, 4 and 3. So not the quietest table ? but Ellen helped cater for their fussiness and also gave them colouring things. Made sure they had smaller cutlery (teaspoon for youngest two to eat with). Wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable or a nuisance with our non verbal autistic son as we are in other places.

I’ve always found them a bit hit and miss and the food a little ‘Chuck In the microwave’. We visited here on Easter Sunday fully expecting to be packed but it was very quiet. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. The whole place was clean and tidy and the table and menus perfect. As a group of 5, the staff quickly grabbed another table to a join so that we had plenty of room. Staff were attentive and able to explain menu items when prompted. Food arrived quickly and hot and portion sizes were reasonable. Overall a well earnt 5 stars as staff clearly look after the place.

Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Unit N 12, Sharsted Way, GillinghamWe came for lunch today (13/1/25 - around 2.30pm) and it was by far the best Nandos experience I've ever had! It wasn't busy so service was super speedy, but a particular shout out to Thomas our server. He made a fuss of our 2 year old son and kept him entertained whenever he walked past. He was attentive without being overbearing and was extremely polite and friendly. We were greeted warmly at the door, and also had a 'goodbye and thanks for coming' from one of the line cooks. I didn't catch his name but he was working the station closest to the door.
Things like this are such small details, but often overlooked in many chain restaurants/franchises. Good manners and friendly service cost nothing, but make a HUGE difference.
THANK YOU to the team today, but in particular Thomas and the cook who spoke to us on the way out.

The menu is South Indian which is a refreshing change from the usual standard indian restaurant offering.
Dosas are best eaten freshly cooked and when my masala dosa arrived it was limp, having travelled.. A few minutes in the air fryer and it reverted back to its crispy delicious self. It came with coconut and coriander chutneys.
The coconut chicken and pilau rice were also delicious and authentic and not too spicy or hot. The paratha was a lacha paratha, crispy and flaky, just delicious.
Very excellent authentic meal.

Twydall Tandoori
50 Twydall Grn, Rainham, GillinghamClean, tidy and airy with friendly service. We popped down for a cheeky midweek curry because the place had been recommended to us. We had no idea that Tuesday night is banquet night at the Twydall Indian Restaurant. That gives you a starter, main, sides etc. all for a set price. Little did we know that pawn dishes come with a surcharge and to be absolutely honest, one butterflied prawn as a starter wasn't really hitting the spot. That said, the rest of the meal was fine. The naan was perfectly cooked (not overdone and still moist), the rice was fluffy, but I think I chose my main poorly. It's the first time I have had a chicken curry made with pickle (Achari). It overwhelmingly tasted of lime pickle. I like lime pickle on pop's but it's absolutely not good in a curry.
We will give Twydall Tandoori another shot in the future. However, we will select the dishes we know and love so that we can compare the food more fairly with our two favourite curry houses in Medway; Sultan and Spice Fusion.
Parking: Twydall precinct has a central, open air car park. There seems to be plenty of parking available in the evening and it's free.

My most recent was spot on and accurate. The food was good too!
This is the first time in a while that I'd used the drive through rather than order via a delivery service. The many orders through that service have been accurate and good was good. I used the drive thru because the previous evening the delivery company seemed to be having issues finding a driver and then blamed the restaurant for cancelling it which is entirely untrue. So I can't fault my local KFC.

We had a look online and found a couple of places nearby, but the picture of the pancakes at Nutmegs won her over. We easily booked a table online and when we arrive it was easy to locate our table with our name on. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were given a menu on a wooden clipboard which along with the atmosphere made the place feel luxury. We ordered pancakes and the halloumi and shrooms. Ordered wings for the first time in ages and to my absolute delight they were not fried hot wings, but proper grilled Turkish chicken wings, absolutely banging! Honestly this is the only kebabish I go to personally and now they do these sexy grilled wings, they just got even better :)

The food quality was 1st class, the staff were superb and the surroundings were very pleasant.......spotlessly clean......quiet....and great choice of music in the background....all in all a terrific place.
Would 100% recommend and 100 % will be going back there......well done to the table staff there.... keep up the good work........

Copper Rivet Distillery Pump House No. 5 Maritime, Leviathan Way, ChathamCame for an evening out for drinks and small plates. Everything served was immaculate and so was the service. Rachel was amazing and I hope we made her night like she did ours. 1010 would recommend.

2 Woodside, GillinghamBrilliant pub, we eat here often, food is extremely tasty and great value. Would definitely recommend to eat here, we often wait around 30 minutes for food sometimes comes quicker than expected, but haven't got a bad thing to say about the spyglass and kettle.

Their new menu has plenty of options I recommend the Mac and cheese ? and they do a fantastic roast on a Sunday ?

We ordered food as felt hungry when other food was coming out, ordered cheese burger topped chips they were good. Love coming to this pub

The quality of food as in any other kebab place , tasty but not premium. The staff are super friendly, efficient, kind and accommodating, known by locals. Most important it's open past midnight, at least weekends. Being close to Rainham station, it's a perfect spot for late night munchies. Decent pricing. Recommended.

They are so good that whenever I feel homesick, I will come to this place and order them? I just wish they did home delivery.
