14 High St, VentnorWe came for a special meal today and every aspect was fantastic. The waitress was really lovely and accommodating for our three year old. Every plate was perfect, and some of the best food we’ve had on the island so far. We were lucky enough to experience the Twisted Roasts and both the pork and beef were amazing. As were all of the starters and desserts. My little one loved her tempura prawns, and the mountain of ice cream at the end. This wasn’t our first time, and it definitely won’t be our last. Thank you so much for such a lovely meal

20 High St, VentnorSo lucky to have this fabulous restaurant in Ventnor , fabulous food and fabulous staff , what’s not to love about that. My favourite place in town for a lazy brunch . My recommendation is obviously the salmon rosti with poached egg and a side of avocado but also to book a table . Thanks Dita , you’re a fabulous host .

The Seapot
Wheelers Bay Rd, VentnorWent to the Seapot for lunch today. Absolutely beautiful location and the food was amazing. We shared the Frenchie platter and mussels between 3 of us. The baked Camembert was to die for and the bread and mussels were so fresh and delicious. Such a hidden gem! Lovely staff and lovely food. Will be back and will be recommending to all friends who visit the island. Thankyou so much for having us ☺️❤️

Central Hotel, 64 High St, VentnorWhat a lovely place! We called in for a very light lunch and were very impressed. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff are lovely and the food and drink very well priced. It was a great cup of tea as well!

30 Pier St, VentnorHad a fantastic sunday lunch. Really tender roast beef. A great selection of vegetables and roast potatoes complimented by a huge Yorkshire pudding. Friendly and efficient service from the proprietors and the restaurant was busy so booking is a must.

Carnaby Diner and Bowie's Bar
66 High St, VentnorTasty, home cooked meals, good portion sizes for good value prices. Vegan and gluten free options. Friendly and efficient service. Welcoming atmosphere. I visited there for dinner and karaoke with my partner and two children. The decor is really interesting and cool, the menu covers are retro vinyl album covers. The loo is decorated as the TARDIS and they have a Dalek model out the front, which impressed my Dr Who fanatic son. They have retro board and card games available and run regular quiz nights and karaoke nights. Owners and fellow customers friendly and welcoming.

The Taverners
High St, Godshill, VentnorFirst visit to the Taverners since new owners took over and my friends and I were very impressed with the delicious food. Plenty of choice, well cooked and excellent service. The young man Alex, who attended to us was extremely polite, efficient and made the evening a good experience. We will definitely be returning.

The Hambrough Restaurant and Bar with Rooms
Hambrough Rd, VentnorWe only ate at the Hambrough and the food was excellent. My only negative comment was the actual dining area itself as it was lacking character. The atmosphere was slightly soulless, however the food was absolutely superb and made up for this entirely! The duck was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was without fault. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic and we will be returning again!

1 Metropole, Esplanade, VentnorAmazing location by the sea front, so relaxing just sitting here, drinking tea. Toni is so hospitable, she greets you as family! Either inside or outside, you feel the positive vibes!! An absolute treasure trove inside of little nik naks. They weee just finishing off baking croissants when I was there. The smell was wonderful! Crumpets with marmite (yum!) toast, homemade cakes, scones!!! Definitely worth a visit to meet these lovely people!!

The Esplanade, VentnorPopped in yesterday with our neighbours, what a wonderful place, packed with so much memorabilia. We all thoroughly enjoyed our teas, cappuccinos and cake. The lavender and lemon cake was fabulous! Service was friendly and helpful. See you soon!

The food was brilliant, very well presented and tasty, portion sizes are good and the food arrived hot and in good time. I would recommend The Met for drinks and dinner!

Wight Mouse Inn
Church Pl, Chale, VentnorEvery time we've been in the Wight Mouse, we've been greated by lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they've gone out of their way to make our visits a pleasant experience. Their food is simply exceptional! Portions are huge, and certainly value for money. We haven't eaten anywhere else since being on the island. If you get the chance you have to go in for their Sunday dinners!

The Rex in Ventnor
23 Church St, VentnorWe have had two wonderful meals at The Rex this week. We have tried the prawns, crab cakes, cheese soufflé, sea bass and mushroom risotto (and three different desserts!). Every meal was presented, and cooked, beautifully! Excellent choice of wines added to the enjoyment. Sadly, as it is towards the end of season, it was not fully booked but with a lovely veranda overlooking Ventnor Bay it is a perfect place for a delicious meal!

White Horse Inn
High St, Whitwell, Ventnorwe popped into the white horse today for a roast, I'm gluten free so tend to stick to places I know, and I'm annoyed we haven't been here sooner! the food was delicious, the meats cooked to perfection and everything on our plates were full of flavour. The staff were all welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, our server, spencer, was an absolute pleasure. I would definitely recommend and will 100% be going back.

Griffin Godshill
High St, Godshill, VentnorOverall not a bad pub. Classic stonegate quality. My steak was well done even if asked for medium rare but the rest of our meals were relatively good, bar service was a suprize as you can book but we didn't mind. Would have stayed for a couple more drinks if we had proper service perhaps but overall decent pub.

7 Church St, VentnorGreat service. Perfectly explained and selected all dishes. Beef perfect (soft, juicy, well seasoned) pasta with vegetables very tasty but little sauce. Chicken in breadcrumbs in sweet and sour sauce, chicken very good, sauce clumpy and like in every Chinese restaurant when it cools down it turns into jelly, sweet with pieces of pineapple. I recommend
