This is quality food at its best, dare you to walk in the door and not love the amazing smells, it tastes better than the awesome aroma.
Mark is a great guy as was the chef who's name I didn't catch

117 High St, CowesI think I've been here about 5 times over the course of the last year. Every single time I wasn't able to finish what I had ordered even though it couldn't have been more delicious.
Also, their selection of drinks is tremendous.

14-15 Shooters Hill, CowesMy mum and I came here for dinner on the Saturday just gone. It was a plate of warming beautiful food with amazing flavours. It was classic simple and extraordinary.
The service was a bit slow near pudding but that was due to the mamouth amount of people that came in to enjoy their food.
We loved it so much that I came back for brekkie the next day, it was one of the best full English’s I’ve ever eaten! I want to try it again!
Also to add the decor was stunning! And we were able to bring our dogs in when we were eating inside, it allowed us to eat other then ‘pub grub’ and made all the difference to our trip to the island!
Lastly the prices were so reasonable! Defo the best place we have eaten in on the island!

Gurnard Press Bistro
31 Worsley Rd, CowesI set up "the island apron" approx 5 years ago. An online facebook cookery club where we discuss recipies, share advice and ask eachother questions. We also meet up at times all around the island for either breakfast, lunch or dinners to eat & make new friends and chat. Today around 20 of us went to Gurnard press for lunch. Food was tasty, place clean and staff very friendly. What more can you ask for?!

37 High St, CowesCan’t give it 5 stars as it’s not a 5 star restaurant if you know what I mean but we couldn’t fault the food, we had the duck, swordfish and monkfish on our table and all great, the starters and sweets were good too.

28 York Ave, East CowesWonderful food and great prices. I can thoroughly recommend the chicken curry, and the milkshake was really nice. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and if I ever find myself back in the Isle of Wight I will be coming back.

44 High St, CowesWalked in late on Bank Holiday Monday and friendly welcome. Food, service both very good. It’s a BYO but we just drank water. My local pal said the Bahar was the hidden gem of Cowes curry houses - he’s right!

The Fountain Inn
High St, CowesStayed for a long weekend. Lovely superior double room, a king bed by the way. Breakfast was superb, Nicky was so helpful, an absolute delight and took an interest in us and our plans for the day. Also enjoyed our evening meals. Staff were all lovely. Couldn't really fault anything other than couldn't work the shower in our room, but that could have been me! Would definitely stay again. Thank you all at the Fountain, Cowes.

D Shepards Wharf Medina Road unit A-B, CowesI don't know where to start on this review as everything was truly amazing! Let's start with the amazing food. The five of us that ate are foodie people and almost all of us said this was the best food we have ever had! The meat (we had a mountain of it!) was just perfectly cooked, the sides were interesting and delicious... the pudding was perfect too. Service from a young team was professional and just the right level of lightheartedness that made for a cracking evening! Highly recommended!

Folly Ln, East CowesWhat an absolute hidden treasure! After a day at Osborne House we looked for somewhere to eat and Googled restaurants near me. Folly Inn was one of them and we chose based on +ve reviews.
The drive to it was long and bumpy but once you arrive you are greeted with such friendly staff, beautiful scenery and a welcoming, clean atmosphere. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Even the loos were posh!
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the crispy cauliflower starter (SO crispy!) and the seafood sharing platter. Delicious! Friends had Hunters Chicken and agreed about the deliciousness!!!
Starters, drinks, mains and pudding came to £115 for 4 people
which I didn't think was too bad.
Would definitely recommend, no need to book and will be back next time we are on the island!!!!

63A High St, CowesI had a "All the way Omelet" that was a suggestion made by Manny. At the end I had a home made Pastel de Nata. The place has a great atmosphere and seems a meeting point for locals to stop and chat with Manny and have a hot drink.

31 Bath Rd, CowesI went here with 3 friends for a quick lunch. We all loved this place! Really friendly and efficient service and a nice range of well priced food choices, prepared freshly. The train set running all around the cafe just below the celing was a fun, quirky touch. I'm an island dweller and will add this to my list of places to take friends and family. 7 Mill Hill Rd, CowesOrdered a takeaway so cannot comment on the atmosphere but the food was very tasty, hot and fresh when it arrived. The best Chinese takeaway in Cowes. The only negative comment to make is our order came to £45 but we didn’t get a free bag of prawn crackers!

The server was very helpful, even when we had a small issue.
The food was delicious. Scampi just melted in my mouth and it was all reasonably priced, far cheaper than I was expecting. Clean plates all round.
A lovely location with pleasant patrons.
100/10 would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cowes.

2 Worsley Rd, CowesThe first time visiting The Portland Inn to celebrate a family members birthday. The food was 10/10, a combination of Sunday roasts and steak and ribs combo. The food came in reasonable time, piping hot and more than enough food for everyone! Luckily we had saved room for dessert, which was also enjoyable! The service provided by the staff was great. They were very attentive and quick to ask if we needed anything else, checking in halfway through the meal. Would recommend to family and friends and will leave the review with a quote from a family member, ‘One of the best roast dinners I’ve had in a long, long time!’

Cockleton Ln, CowesAndy and his team done a hog roast in our front garden for a birthday party. The food was fantastic and the service was brilliant. From start to finish Andy made the whole process so easy and on the day everything was exactly as he said it would be. If you are looking for a friendly team, and great food then we highly recommend Oasis Catering. Will definitely hire them again.
