The View Hitchin Restaurant

We visited The View, as a half term treat. The food was delicious. We started with the Halloumi fries with aioli and parmasan ?I had the "homemade beef and Ginuess pie. I went for chips and the seasonal vegetables were cooked to perfection. The kids meals were a very good size, sorry didn't take pictures of those, far too busy enjoying mine.
But my favourite has to be the Bailey's creme brulee ? The children firmly voted the Nutella Benignue (I know that's spelt wrong) the "best desert ever"
We sat in the outside pod which gives you a lovely View of countryside that surrounds this beautiful village pub.

Kid-friendliness: There is a lovely, fenced garden for the children to roam around in.

Barton's Fish & Chips

Impossible to park nearby these days. I won't be bothering again. I'm disabled and tried to find a suitable space within 200 yards and it took 30 mins at 8pm midweek.
