Amwell Street, HoddesdonHad a party for my mum and couldn’t have asked for better. The food was amazing lots of people said how lovely It was. The room was the perfect size, all staff were very helpful. Hannah in particular couldn’t do enough to assist me beforehand and was amazing on the night.
Excellent value for money, bar area clean, tidy and professional staff.
Kid-friendliness: We had children at the party and they were made to feel welcome
Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for wheeelchair and clean and easy to get to disabled toilet.

9 Fawkon Walk, HoddesdonI have been eating Pie n Mash for over 30 years and have eaten in the most famous, and not so famous. I even worked as a cook in Ye Old Pie n Mash in Borehamwood many moons ago when i was a teenager.So, I thought that I'd pop over to this establishment ( I have a vague recollection of visiting their Walthamstow shop with my nan in my early years) I drove from Welwyn Garden City as didn't fancy a train trip to Deptfords wonderful pie n mash and it was well worth the 30-minute drive.The lady at the counter was very friendly and took my order within seconds of entering the shop.I went for the good old Double pie n mash and can happily say that the mash was fluffy, and the pies were filled to the brim and tasted lovely with a bit of pepper and some chilli vinegar.If you love pie n mash , get down to this amazing little gem as it does exactly what you're hoping to find.Overall, it was a very hearty and comfortably warming eating experience on a cold afternoon.Will i go back....yes!Also, they do not take cards, so ensure that you have cash. There is a santander a few yards down from the shop with an ATM.

I must say this place doesn’t disappoint, I am delighted we made the choice to come visit this place.Kamrun was very nice and attentive. The other two waiters were very friendly, one waiter even charged my phone for me when I asked which I really appreciated. They explained the menu and what their specialties were.

We got the Salt and Pepper Munchy box, which comes with chips, special fried rice, salt and pepper chicken and ribs, plus Chicken Balls and a bunch of sauces. They delivered the meal to Harlow regardless ,delivery driver had smile on their face and it was genuinely excellent meal, probably the best Kung Po beef I've ever had.Would recccomend and would also order from them again if they'd oblige.

We ordered - salmon shashlik - saag aloo - mushroom bhaji - chicken madras - vegetable rice The salmon was unreal, the flavours were amazing, I was so impressed!!! I never tried saag aloo and mushroom bhaji until today and I’m so glad I did, the potatoes are so soft and literally everything was full of flavour!! Delivery didn’t take too long, food was hot, freshly made, tasted amazing, decent sized portions!!! This was a 10/10 takeaway, we never usually get Indian takeaways but we’ll be ordering from here more often!!! I’m so happy and absolutely stuffed!!!

Morrisons Cafe
Amwell St, Hoddesdonwe went to the restaurant/ cafe for a quick bite. the self screen wasnt working, neither was the soft drinks pumps. there was a very limited amout of food the counter fridges. we deiceded on avacado and egg on brown toast. They had run out of avacado and would need to check if there was enough brown bread left. so after the bread was found the be in stock we ordered the egg on brown toast twice, one with butter and one without as im intolerant to milk. also ordered a tea and coffee. we hadnt been there before and didnt realise it was self service, we where waiting for drinks to be brought to us. we then saw other people getting their own drinks. the lady on the till obviously didnt want to be there, she was not informative or helpful, but did tell us they where sort staffed. the food arrived quickly. we started eating, i couldnt figure out if mine was butted or not as it was so greasy. i asked the lady who had cooked it if both orders where buttered and she said yes. great! she apoligised and said her collegue should have told her. she promptly made me another and offered me a milk freeoption. she was very nice, but it again was very greasy. the whole place was very dirty, inparticular the counter and coffee/ tea area, no napkins and some condiments missing. it was not busy at all in there, no excuse for how dirty it was and how can they run out of things next to a morrisons store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very unwell the following day and had to take a day unpaid of work.
