201-205 Turners Hill, Cheshunt, Waltham CrossThe food had nice flavours. The lamb in the Rogan wasn’t as tender as other places I’ve eaten but the spice was perfect for me and my partner.
The meat Samosa was crispy and had good amount of filling.
They provided us with a small salad which was very old and seems to have been packed days ago.

Wimpy

The food itself was OK, but no burger is worth that price.
The atmosphere was average, but then again, what else would you compare it to?
The service was faultless. The staff were very hospitable and efficient.
Overall, I have been eating at this Wimpy since 1988. Although it has changed hands and had a major refurbishment in the past few years, it has only enhanced its appeal.
Parking: The ticket machine gives a ticket free of charge for 30 minutes, leaving a bit of a rush to eat your food if you sit in.
Be aware that along the parking bays, there are 2 signs clearly indicating that you can park free for an hour so if you did end up getting a ticket over your 20 minutes then you could contest the fine if charged (of you want the aggravated hassle of course)

De Ja Vu
19 High St, Cheshunt, Waltham CrossThe best authentic Indian Restaurant in the World. All the staff are always soo happy, it has now become tradition for my wife's Birthday and special occasions. I have also tried DeJa Vu as a takeaway and their onion bhajis are soo good especially with Mango Chutney. Normally disappointment with most places as prices have gone up and quality down after Covid. But De Ja Vu remains one of the great places to eat out.

The staff are always very friendly and you don’t have to wait long for anything. The staff always have smiles on their face and always very chatty you are made to feel very welcome. I’ve used raj vogue for many of years but never taken the time to write a review.. I have been away in different areas and tried new places but nothing compares to this place I would highly recommend to any body and I will never go anywhere else but here just saying every one needs to try you won’t look back. They have my 5 star every time

Food was lovely and resnabally priced, not a long wait and served hot.
I'd booked a table on line and somehow something went wrong with the booking, but the two waitresses were so helpful in accommodating us and we thankfully had a wonderful table.
Beer ? good food excellent and fantastic entertainment what more could we ask for, definitely going again. Thank you.

We were all so impressed by the extremely good and friendly service, the generous amount of food (I mean huge amount of food - we all needed to take away the rest we couldn't fit in our stomachs) for such a small prize. I was especially happy as I am vegan and the waiters recommended me the vegan option I had - the food was delicious! Can highly recommend this place. They also have really cute antique looking plates.

It was cooked to perfection and very tasty. New owners now and they have improved the quality and taste of the food as well as being so friendly and pleasant. 100% better! Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of lamb/chicken in the curry. Very generous. People need to retry them as new owners and give them an chance. My favourite take away for Indian food.

1 Windmill Ln, Cheshunt, Waltham CrossI love ordering from here. The sheftalia and pork mixed in pita is 10/10. Juicy soft well seasoned pork and very flavorful sheftalia. It's my go to! Also tried the makaronia and it came is such a good portion, delicious but could be hotter as the middle was still cold. Always give me a salad which I love. Also koubes here is soo good! Pastry not too thick on the outside and filling is really good. Will defo order again :)
