The fact that many people attended who were very clearly regulars, and we were made to feel as though we too were regulars on our first visit tells a lot. The food is superb, beautifully cooked and presented, the service is with a big smile and welcome. Every dish is a delight! I went to that region for a week for business and sightseeing purposes. I went there by chance on the first day, and since I was very pleased with it, I went almost every day afterwards. It's a wonderful place, very successful with every service. I definitely recommend it ?

Kiyoto Sushi Borehamwood

Beautiful Salmon Teriyaki and Salmon Crunch roll. Really good food and really good service. I ordered food to collect and was ready when I requested and still hot.

Cacao Bean Café and Restaurant

Wow what a lovely restaurant. Staff was so friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. We had the tomahawk steak and it was cooked beautifully and very tasty. As the steak took 25 mins we was offered bread and crisps with our drink as we waited which was a lovely touch. I recommend the cocktails I had Saku and it was tasty. Will definitely visit again.

Always lovely food, hot, and a good choice, and will even make me a cheese and tomato omelette which I know isn’t on the menu.Staff are really friendly & professional creating a great buzzy atmosphere ??The owners always go beyond when I’ve came to eat here ⭐️

Our party of four had the Saturday night menu. The spring rolls and buffalo wings were delicious! So too were the burgers, steak and grilled chicken. Sadly no room for dessert. Hot food, freshly prepared and tasty. What's not to like? Highly recommended by our party of four and will definitely be back.

A real find in Borehamwood.This lovely restaurant in Aberford park, serves real ,authentic, greek food.The mains are huge in size ,and very tasty.The Giros chicken and the chicken skewers ,each, can be enough for 2 people.From the starters, the Hummus, Haloumi and Tzaziki are very nice, especially the Tzaziki.Prices are fair , and represent good value for money when you consider the quality and size of the food served.

We were served by Kelly today and she was amazing. She welcomed us in with a friendly smile and checked on us throughout. The food was lovely and the service was impeccable.

Vegetarian options: They have beyond meat options looks like meat but vegetarian. Very delicious and good deals. And good deals for lunch. Also very friendly and fast service. Easy parking

The Arch Restaurant

I attended this restaurant for the first time a couple of months ago and I haven’t been to a different restaurant since, I was truly amazed by it. Firstly, the service was the absolute best, staff was very attentive and quick with the order. The food that arrived was extremely hot and I could tell from one bite that each individual dish was fresh and each dish itself had its own unique taste to it. I genuinely recommend every single person to go to this restaurant I wish I was local to this restaurant but I will still attend every single occasion.

Went here yesterday for our Christmas lunch I’ve had many a roast dinner at the mops but yesterday was delicious The roast dinner and dessert were fantastic but the starter the chicken pate with toasted bread although I ate most of it the presentation was awful Two round balls of the pate dumped on top of two slices of nice bread one of which had a dollop of cranberry sauce on which I couldn’t butter if I’d wanted to it was a bit slap dash but I understand it was a busy period but I would have been happy with one slice of bread cut in triangles on the side with a blob of cranberry jam not a lot of effort required I mean who wants to eat two slices of toast before a roast dinner. (Something to think about) All in all I had a lovely meal served by lovely staff in a lovely pub which was a lovely experience. Well done to all the staff you worked really hard to make our day special

Basil Lounge (Shisha lounge,Kebab,Restaurant)

I cannot fault this place! I have been going here for time. I haven't left a review because I always forget! But it is amazing. Please, please, please, come here! You will not only enjoy the fantastic food but the shisha is second to none and the staff are amazing.

Going Greek

Lovely, tasty, authentic, and well presented. We mostly order for delivery, but we dined in last week, and we loved the place. Bob was very friendly, kind, and welcoming. When we order for delivery, the food always arrives hot, properly labelled and packaged. Definitely recommend this place.

The Wellington

Pub grub is usually not that great - UNLESS you dine at The Wellington. OMG, the food is so good! Fresh, flavoursome, looks good tastes GREAT. One of the very best we have ever had the genuine pleasure of, and hard to beat.Outstanding!

The Waggon & Horses

We held a party here in one of the rooms. All the staff and management we're incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Hari who managed large dinner order. Ideal location for a small party, especially with a Western theme.

Balagan

Absolutely loved Balagan! The shwarma was incredible - perfectly cooked and seasoned, with just the right amount of fat. The pita bread was fresh and fluffy, and the toppings were all delicious. I also tried the hummus, which was smooth and creamy, and the falafel, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. I would definitely recommend Balagan to anyone looking for a great Middle Eastern meal in Borehamwood!

The best fish and chip shop in the whole of Borehamwood, it gets my vote every time. Freshly cooked and always polite professional service from all their staff. The owners have been a beacon of hope and light throughout the Pandemic and now need our support through difficult times ahead. Amazing evening at this restaurant. The food was absolutely lovely, we had a starter and main meal rice and bbq , everything cooked very well . I will recommend for anyone to try Romanian sour Chery alcohol drink , very good . The staff is very helpful, friendly and hard working. We will be back

Dynasty Oriental Cuisine

Working my way through the local Chinese restaurants I tried Dynasty. ordered online (covid) @ 7.13. once you confirm order a timer appears, this told me delivery by 8pm. I called after this and was told he'll be with you in minutes, I smiled, after a stint as a minicab driver in the 90's I'd heard that before! Anyway by 810 the food was with me, so less than an hour. (I can drive there myself within 4 minutes). Not as hot as I like despite the insulating box, obviously I was towards the end of the run. Food, the 1/4 duck was crispy skinned and Juicy meat just as I like, shame the pancakes were lukewarm, only slightly warmer than the cucumber I had to heat the other dishes up and they were tasty. I will use again but as a takeaway NOT as a delivery.

Good range of food options and a step up from other Italian style restaurants. We were in Elstree for the Strictly final and judging by the reflection off the sequins around the restaurant, so we’re many others. Happy to take Tesco Clubcard vouchers, which is great.

My regular for the Friday pizza night. Taste's good, pizza is almost always fresh, and no complains about the staff. We love it!Vegetarian options: Hot Mexican, remove spicy beef and add black olives. Super good!

The food was lovely as always. I don’t know what your talking about Michael Curran. The ownership has stayed the same for the last 9 years. They told me that you was kicked out and banned from the takeaway couple years ago. You sound like you have a grudge. You was also a delivery driver for the kebab shop down the street. How coincidental that is I don’t know. Your a pathetic liar mate honestly.

Staff, the guy on the till had 3-4 attempts to sort our bill out ,(2 drinks and 1 cake) he kept trying to overcharge us...! The queue quite long (as usual), but the drinks came quite quickly once paid for. Hard chairs, don't stay too long.

Lovely, friendly staff.Ordered burger and chips and sausage and cheesy chips. Hot chocolate and a coke.For us, the service was great and prices fair.Unfortunately, the 4 stars are due to the low quality of the meat products. The burger was not great and the sausage not very meaty.Hot chocolate was super.It's a shame as the cafe is nice and as stated lovely service.Parking was difficult, but I did find 30 mins free near by, but had to get a ticket from the machine.Parking: 30 mins free

We have been regular customers at Ben and Ollies for the last 7 years or so. The food is very tasty. Good portion size and the staff are amazing. It is a lovely place for a quick coffee, break, lunch, or brunch.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options, from omelettes to paninis, falafel, vegetarian breakfast, burger and pasta.Parking: There is a pay and display parking in front of the cafe. Parking is also available at Tesco's opposite the cafe.Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu is varied and the portion is good size. Kids get a main dish, a drink and a dessert for a reasonable price

Eli's Pizza - (Borehamwood)

The best pizza in Borehamwood, hands down. It is vegetarian though. I'm not a veggie but put the vegetarian sausage on my pizza. Great base, fresh ingredients. Works every time. Plus you've got a BOGOF on a Tuesday which is even cheaper if you collect. Highly recommend at least trying, you won't look back.

The Oak

Very friendly and pleasant local. Good range of drinks and John Smiths on draught and also do bottled ale. Many years ago the pub had a bad reputation but 13 years later it is a great family area. Love the board games and as it's in walking distance we shall be coming Mike often to make up for the 10 plus years we didn't. Lovely done out outside seating area with cosy and covered bench seats. Decor all brand new and clean !

Pizza Choice and Best Kebabs

Been coming for years. The kebab never manages to disappoint. The food is always very hot and fresh and the staff are always friendly. They have a wide selection of dishes to suit the whole family. Would never go anywhere else for my takeaway.

Fantastic pub, lovely staff especially Mark. Stayed in London for 6 weeks for work commitments and the good companion easily became my new local. All staff have an approachable can do attitude nothing is too much of an ask. Thank you for being so lovely to a london outsider! X

KFC Borehamwood - Shenley Road

I'd order Via JustEat... a simple process that thousands of us have used... however, when my order was out for delivery it all of a sudden got cancelled, I immediately called KFC to which I was told that the delivery driver seemed to have an aggressive outburst and decided to throw my food onto the floor in the restaurant.The poor manager apologised to me and explained if I could come to the restaurant, he would remake my order for when I arrive.He did exactly that, my food was hot and fresh and was just being put into boxes and bags for me. And the manager showed me photos that he took of when the JustEat driver had thrown the food literally everywhere inside the restaurant!He even added some extras because i travelled to get my food. Really friendly staff and the manager is brilliant and handled the situation very professionally!Highly recommend
