Poppies Cafe

Nice little cafe in the Veteran's Hall. Rather has the feel of refreshments at the village fete, of which my wife and I are very fond. Charming staff and nice, plain food at very reasonable prices. A great antidote to the 'artisan', chorizo and mozzarella in everything pretensions of nearby Berkhamstead. Set in the heart of a really attractive village which is well worth the detour.
