The comfort is very good and the portions are generous.
Also at lunch there is a menu of starter + main or main + dessert for £20. Very good quality-price ratio.

White Swan Shopping Court, 10 White Swan Ct, MonmouthI ordered a takeaway from here and the food was delicious! Authentic flavours and super tasty dishes with proper spice. The lady was friendly when we picked it up. My only issue was that we didn't quite order enough food for 5 of us!

8 Church St, MonmouthExcellent food and service , came here from the Midlands for a day out and pre booked a table and asked them to arrange some balloons for the table . They did this for me , table looked lovely surrounded with all the Mexican props and Birthday Banner . The food was out of this world , served to our tastes and piping hot . Large portions too , excellent value and perfect customer service.

The Oldway Centre, 8, Monnow St, MonmouthMy father who is 78 goes in for his coffee everyday to which he thoroughly looks forward to. The other day unbeknown to him, he lost his wallet. Later on that day the cafe phoned him to say they had found the wallet outside and it was now safe and sound with them, ready for him to collect. Very professional, honest and kind staff.

If I was to change it I'd make it table service but appreciate it's probably too busy for that - just a pain queuing while missing out on chat time with my mate.

36 Monnow St, MonmouthBooked for 6pm on a Sunday evening - it was fairly quiet but a really enjoyable experience with my two sons. They loved their pizzas and sides, I had the sloppy guiseppe which tasted great - it was their first visit to a pizza express and they really enjoyed it.

The Kings Head Hotel - JD Wetherspoon
8 Agincourt Square, MonmouthRooms are a little tired and could do with freshening up but was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities and bottles of water. Only 2 coat hangers. We didn't eat here but the food looked nice and they were always busy, which is a good sign. Our room was right behind the door at the top of the stairs so was a little noisey with people coming and going, but all in all it was a comfortable stay.
