I’m 99% sure my husband is now in a committed relationship… with a burger.

Every time we order from Fuego’s, it’s a home run, but this time, they really pulled out all the stops. Picture this: we’re both completely hungover, barely functioning, and in desperate need of something to bring us back to life. So naturally, we ordered the whole works—a burrito, taquito, a burger, mac ‘n’ cheetos, and dome bread. Pure revival in a takeout bag.

Now, back to my husband. He stared at his burger like it was a masterpiece in the Louvre, mesmerized as if he’d finally found "the one." I think he even whispered “perfect” at one point.

Incredibly lovely place with very nice staff!
Me and my boyfriend love latin food and as soon as we saw this place on the map it was a must and the food was even better than my expectations.
The staff is a family from Venezuela (all incredibly nice) they were even closing when we arrived but the service was 10/10.
The music is latin music, so you can expect a bit of salsa, merengue and nice latin vibes in general.
We ordered arepas (Ávila and Caracas) and it was excellent.
Would definitely recommend to anyone that is visiting Portsmouth and I hope I can go back soon?? ??

Had a lovely meal with my wife and two kids. We ordered four burgers, and I had seven pints then left my hideous family while I played Fishing Frenzy on the fruit machine. I lost £70. The staff were impeccable, Miguel gave us luxury service, and was always smiling. The food was well priced for what we received, and cooked to perfection. The music choice was fantastic; the atmosphere was astonishingly calm. I will be back again!!!!

Super evening at Huis for a birthday celebration. Food was excellent a d worth the price, and as for beers would recommend trying the Kwak. Will hopefully be back at Huis soon!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I am extremely satisfied with the meal we had.
Our waiter was called Sri and he was fantastic!
He gave amazing service, gave recommendations on food which we loved !

Food was 10/10 got 3 starters snd 3 mains which was well worth it.

Will come back next week.

This is a Review & a Thankyou to the owner, all i remember is the owner reminds me of "Chris Martin" out of "coldplay" & because i have a memory problem, i end up saying to the owner that he still reminds me of Chris Martin, (so to save my embarrassment, i bring up the same conversation, & ask the owner, what is your name again..... ((Andy)) so as this is a review is for mainly "Andys Ink Shop" its also a thankyou for "Andy" for not ever being annoyed, for me forgetting his name.

Anyway to get on with the review, i have known "Chris Martin,,, oh im sorry i mean Andy" (lol) for about 15 years.
I have always found Him to be always full of the Joys if spring & just, such a real nice chap, i have used his computers to check emails and send emails and letters, also i have printed documents & brought computer parts from him in the past.
Andy is a really intresting guy & he has a intresting knowledge on all things computers etc.
I hope this review helps Andy flourish more, because we all need good people in this world, and thank you Andy you are certainly one of them.
You have helped me, as once i was in a pickle.
Andy sells inks for printers and his team can fix most things techy, their is a Internet café & Andy sells Second hand & some new computers, Apple ? and PC. ?.
The shop is clean, tidy & is a pleasure to visit.
I can't speak more highly of Andy or Southsea Inks. Why not pay them a visit. Open times are in the encluded pictures.

Adding to my review from a year ago !
We revisited last night and it was just as good - if not even better food !

Immediately noticeable from the “Nibbles menu” that the food here is something special. We ordered between 2-3 dishes per person (group of 6) and there was plenty ! Creative dishes that are just full of flavour, and love the unique twist on usual favourites like Patatas Bravas.
All topped off with THE best spicey margs in town !

Honestly expected the bill to be more - £53 a head incl tip, all drinking and had nibbles, mains and 3 desserts.

Keep doing what you’re doing Maya - it’s such a treat to visit you ??

Perfect birthday venue ! .. Our group of 16 pre-booked the basement bar for a birthday celebration and couldn't fault the experience. Amazing range of food for all dietary requirements (we had a range in our group incl. veggie and pesc) and portion size is well above the usual tapas style restaurant - we were also given the option to box-up anything left so win-win !
Cocktails are definitely the best quality in Southsea, AND don't take 25mins to make !
A genuinely seamless night all round, the staff just knew the meaning of true hospitality from start to end.

Vegetarian options: Full veggie menu available, didn't feel restrictive at all. Also a number of fish dishes if Pesc.

Parking: Plenty of on-street meter parking close to the restaurant

Fantastic service, speedy and lovely food.....however.....I asked for a gin and tonic, it tasted quite strong and when the bill came it showed that I had been given a double. I didn't ask for a double as I was driving. That's not on. If I had a second one, I would have been way over the limit without knowing! Also, when paying £20 for 5 grilled prawns as part of a main, I don't really expect to have to clean the "poo tubes" out myself. This is part of a chefs prep!!

Had a fantastic experience at Cedar Lebanese Restaurant! The food was amazing, especially the shawarma, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional, and the staff made us feel right at home. The manager, Ali, was incredibly accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. Love The Phoenix. Always made very welcome by staff and customers. Meat raffle and open the box on a Sunday.
Gents loos have been done up but some of the locals say it has ruined the atmosphere ?
Two sides of the bar in the main building, smoking area outside, plus the games room beyond that.
Lots of memorabilia and things to look at on the walls and ceiling.
Highly recommended.

Parking: Parking can be difficult in the area, and there are restrictions with a parking scheme in place.

Wheelchair accessibility: Doorways quite narrow so may be a bit tight getting in. Should be OK once inside but I'm sure there was a step into the smoking area and beyond.

Myself and my partner participated in the "Beer Tasting Masterclass" run by Joel. We sampled 8 beers over a 2 hour period and got a fantastic narrative throughout, describing each of the beers, flavour profiles and how they are made. Really interesting and very well run. Joel was fantastic and highly recommend the experience!

On hearing this is probably the top fish and chips in Portsmouth, we travelled from Camberley to see how accurate the reviews were. Well, they are fantastic! First class friendly and professional service, freshly cooked, great portion sizes and delicious! Very clean and tidy and good value for money!
Having tried a few other local chippies in Portsmouth, in my humble opinion...the reviews are right!

The restaurant is amazing! We went on a Friday for lunch, we did a reservation but at least when we went it was quiet. Marisa served throughout and she’s great, very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, we forgot to take a picture of the starter but the mussels are definitely worth it! The cocktails are made with real fruit which was spectacular!
Definitely recommend the place!

Been here over the time of 5 years a few times. Every time has been very good. Excellent food, drinks and service. Cheaper than hotels in area and probably best food in the area to be honest. We visit Portsmouth a lot and know many places well. This Is a favourite. Highly recommend

Although a little quiet the night we were there the food was fantastic. The Pinsa (pizza) was light but crispy, really fresh and just delicious!!! Would thoroughly recommend. Hosts are great, house wine lovely and my children thought the pistachio ice cream was delicious….thoroughly recommend

The portions are huge and it is excellent value for money as well.

The staff is also very friendly and they will give you free grappa wine and also candy.
You might also receive special upgrades (I had two lobsters instead of one)

This is THE go to place for pre match beers IMO, we are here before every home game and events and love the place.

This place is absolutely amazing for anyone who likes to try new unique and fun beers, friendly bubbly staff and a brilliant atmosphere - does the bar get busy on match days? yes of course but would you rather sit in a quiet pub with 3 people or experience the buzz of a packed out venue - I prefer the latter personally so the queues for loos and bar is part and parcel.

All the new renovations upstairs and making the place more family friendly, lots of work going on out the front (new outside bar and shelters etc)

BUT: Be aware this is a small craft brewery and there are a lot of strong beers and different flavours, lots of IPA's there is decent choice for the person who likes to try new things - sometimes you might have one you don't like, but that is the risk you take trying new things, I wouldn't downrate a place due to my taste buds not liking a beer that many others may enjoy
They do cater for lower % session beer and other spirits/wine etc
IF however you only like 3% fosters and have no interest in trying craft beers this place probably isn't for you, and that's okay.

ALSO: In regards to any reviews you see regarding food - this is outsourced so I feel it is pretty unfair to downrate the brewery based on an external food vendor experience and not actually the brewery or beer itself.

Had a tremendous time here with my Daughter, staff were incredibly accommodating and helped myself and her feel comfortable, we played some great games from the store as well as play a quick game of Magic.
As well as that we had a most excellent pair of sandwiches and some delightful mocktails.
All in all, a gem of Southsea and well worth a visit.

Kid-friendliness: Were incredibly engaging with my child, they made her feel welcome and not a problem to be in the cafe at all

I was having a really bad day nearing the end of the University term in May and my mum came down to portsmouth to take me out for dinner. I had a prawn ramen with miso broth, the price was very reasonable and the food was amazing, fabulous taste and so homely. The green tea I ordered was so good too. Needless to say it helped me overcome the struggle I faced that day and I would recommend it a thousand times. So delicious!
