This is the 3rd time I've visited in a few months and I love this place. The only downside is the ridiculous waiting times every time I go. It's obviously a popular place. The first two times I visited, were a 45 min wait and today was 1hr 10. The food is worth it. The fried chicken wrap is to die for. The coleslaw is epic and the fruit compote and pancakes are heaven. I would go here more often, if the wait wasn't so long. Staff always friendly and attentive.

Wheelchair accessibility: Access for wheelchairs. Room for chairs to be moved, for a wheelchair to be at a table.

Stopped on way through for lunch.
Great place to stop. Well priced with good food and a varied selection of beers etc.
Friendly staff and good service.

Inside looked very nice but we sat outside.

Pub dog was very friendly.

Best quiche we’d ever had. The bread was perfectly baked. SO states non-alcoholic was as delicious as the bread. I only wish we’d had room after our meals to try one of their desserts. This little gem is a must-try if you’re in the area.

I cannot recommend the 5 bells in Buriton enough!
We had our parent’s 40th wedding anniversary here yesterday and it was all perfect!
Nothing was too much trouble and the owner and team when well out of their way to make this a memorable event for us all!
For a large table of 9 (2 of which being young children), everything was wonderful!
The food was beautifully cooked and hot, the children were given bubbles and little toys to play with and amuse themselves (which was such a lovely idea), the food and drinks were delivered extremely fast and the team were so polite and friendly!
Myself and family are extremely grateful for how wonderful and kind you all were and it’s made such a lasting memory for us!
Thank you from us all again x

If you haven’t eaten here, it’s a must for your next meal- the roast dinners and desserts are so tasty and the chef did such a wonderful job.
I will continue to recommend this pub for years to come! We have never once had an issue!
Try this place if you haven’t yet!

Simply amazing!

We travelled down from Cumbria to collect a car locally about an 8 hour drive

The welcome the food and drink the room the location PERFECT could not have asked for more,nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed at Langrish House and received the warmest of welcomes from Val and Nigel. They were both so kind and helpful. The breakfast was a delight, and walking around the grounds was like being in the very best of dreams. Langrish House’s access to the walking paths nearby was a big plus for us.

Rooms: Elegant comfort at its best.

Walkability: Easily accessible footpaths everywhere.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Flora for such fantastic service. She was so welcoming and attentive, and made our evening.

The food was delicious, however we found the veal a a little over cooked so we mentioned this to our waitress who promptly offered a replacement dish.

Apart from this, the pasta dishes were delicious and I would highly recommend them, especially the carbonara.

Popped in here as it was listed as dog friendly and my mother and I had traveled to petersfield for a dog walk exploring the local lake and got hungry. So glad we did! What a lovely little pub! The gentleman holding down the fort acting as barman and waiter etc (I presume the Landlord!) was lovely and friendly, welcoming and kind- none of that small pub for locals atmosphere at all! I got chatting with some of the regulars and it seems to be a very well loved and well used local for many but one you can step in to as an outsider and be happily welcomed. Great selection of drinks and it was lovely to see they stock the non alcoholic Asahi! Never had that behind a bar before and I was very glad to see it.

The food was lovely, the chips were cooked to perfection and the meze bowl was flavourful and wonderfully put together. I always worry about meze bowls being bland but the flavours were beautiful and very well balanced to compliment each other.

We are already looking forward to coming back now that we have 'discovered' this wonderful little gem!

Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian and vegan options for both starters, mains and puddings

Popped in here for a drink and sat outside on the street in the sunshine, enjoying the ambience. This is a friendly pub with good ales, and a nice feel about it. The menu looks good and reasonably priced. I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.
