41 Station Rd, LissWonderful place for a lunch stop on our cycle tour. They've set up cycle locks at the back, so you can relax while you eat.
Eggs Royale were excellent and the banana + caramel milkshake refuelled me for the afternoons ride.

The Jolly Drover
London Rd, Hill Brow, LissI booked lunch on a Monday when there were not many customers. The food was excellent and so was the service. Parking was easy. We did not stay at the hotel so cannot comment on the rooms, etc.
It is our favorite venue for lunch.

The Flying Bull Inn
London Rd, Rake, LissBeen popping in here for a few years now, staff always friendly and helpful! Good selection of Beers and the Garden is lovely on a hot day as is the fire in winter. Nice atmosphere in the pub, just need to try the Sunday dinners now as they seem to be very popular.

The Spread Eagle, Farnham Rd, LissCalled in not long after opening, so very quiet and not much atmosphere. Service was quick, food was good, worth another visit.
Parking: Off road gravel parking, sufficient for several minibus and perhaps twenty cars.

Chef China Chinese Takeaway
4 Station Rd, LissWe are always on the lookout for a good takeaway for vegan food and Chef China did not disappoint. The vegan dishes are clearly marked on the menu (we ordered a huge range of them!) the mushroom chow mein was delicious, as was the hot and sour soup.We'll be back!

Petersfield Rd, Greatham, LissWe just popped in for a pie and a pint on the way home. There was a wonderfully piano player playing 1950's style and singing too . I t were great .There is Thai food too .We will go back .

The Whistle Stop
Hill Brow Rd, LissConnor and the Florio’s team served fantastic pizza with a smile to 100 18 year olds. It was fantastic.
We definitely look forward to asking Connor to come back.
PS we love to sneak into Liss on Friday night to get Pizza for the family, because they are so good.
