Longmoor Rd, Griggs Green, LiphookThis quaint country pub first came to my attention after visiting old thorns country club in a freezing winters night. I feel in love with it immediately and it was a welcome respite from the icy cold outside at the time. We had impromptu food which we were lucky to get as this very popular spot always recommends booking ahead,, but we were in luck and got a table in the corner to thaw out and relax. The staff were amazing - friendly, funny, helpful and efficient, and the food was high end pub and delicious quality. They do great Xmas offers which I intend to try this year, and did I mention they are dog friendly, have roaring fires abs have the cutest outside area with heated pods with sofas, blankets and the like. Highly recommended. Oh, and they have over a hundred different gins to try...

Parking: A bit of a tight squeeze to enter if you have a large vehicle, but plenty of parking inside.

Iping Rd, Milland, LiphookSimply really good! London Pride excellent, Burger excellent (and the BEST chips!!), good wine list sensibly priced, and the atmosphere was cheerful and enjoyable even on a very wet weekday lunchtime!

L & S gift shop - Now under new management - Number One The Square
1 The Sq, LiphookI have just enjoyed my first visit to Number 1, which has been a very pleasant experience. My decaf coffee was great, and the berries smoothie-bowl was gorgeous, bursting with fruit and nuts.The lady who runs this place is delightfully friendly and welcoming, and those engaging attributes are on show from her staff too.Despite the nearby traffic, Number 1 is a little haven, and well worth visiting.

Portsmouth Rd, LiphookGood local, typical Fuller's pub. Good can be a bit hit and miss. i.e chicken Caesar salad great, Chicken roast a bit dry and spuds not the best. Otherwise a good place for a drink and family. Bar side super cosy and welcoming, restaurant side feels a bit loud and cold sometimes

Starbucks Coffee
A3, LiphookI was extremely impressed by how clean and fresh the Starbucks was at this service station. All the staff are very attentive and friendly which is quite unusual when you have young Saturday staff. The toilets were clean with more than 1 loo which makes a fabulous change (also unusual when run by youngsters). We certainly will visit again rather than waiting until Ripley!

Headley Rd, LiphookReally nice selection of dishes, large prawns and plenty of them. Well flavoured rice, plentiful portions. We ordered for 2, easily enough for 4. No issues my end. Yes, the chicken balls were on the salty side but not overly so. The batter was light and crispy and the meat was tender.

A3 South, Liphook - Petersfield Bypass, LiphookSo visited this Shell which is located on the A3 Southbound near to Liphook on a Thursday morning. It’s not my first visit to this petrol station have been here any times over the years. The petrol station is well equipped and stocked. Early morning the croissants where hot and freshly made, and the sausage rolls and other food items had also just been prepared. The staff seemed friendly enough and the prices where a little bit expensive which is to be expected from a shell in a premium location. The only little gripe was that the toilets could have been cleaner they where not the cleanest. The fuel price is also not the cheapest here but again it’s probably due to the location being right on the A3 and in a prime area. Overall a great experience here and would recommend it.

Happy Valley Chinese Restuarant&Take Away
6 Midhurst Rd, LiphookAfter reading through the reviews I decided to try this Chinese and ordered for delivery.The delivery was fast the food was nice and hot .Everything I ordered had lots of flavour and generous portions .I recommend this Chinese and my experience with them today was definitely a good one, I will definitely use again next time I feel like Chinese food .

Liphook Fish & Chips
47 Headley Rd, LiphookHad my first seniors fish and chips meal.
I have always struggled to eat all of a standard fish and chips so this was more to my size. Quality good for both the fish and chips. Friendly courteous face behind counter which is always pleasant. Well done everyone ?.
Parking: Be careful if parking face first in lay-by as reversing back onto the through road as not a very clear sight line.
