The Wyvern

A wonderful pub with fantastic staff lovely atmosphere and amazing food. I recommend booking as it is always busy.

Parking: It has a reasonable sized carpark which can full up quickly due to its popularity.

Kid-friendliness: There is a small outdoor play area, the kids menu is excellent.

Sorrento

Such a lovely Italian Restaurant. Have eaten here many times and we are never disappointed. Staff are great, friendly and welcoming. Food is amazing and I love the hand made pizza. Highly recommend this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Station

A great place to socialise. Food is fairly priced and received well. A great pint is poured with a welcoming smile from the staff. Extremely dog friendly! People can be so quick to find the time to complain and write bad reviews. A good review is certainly needed for the manager and the team at station. Keep being you team station and thank you!

The Queens Head Dogmersfield

Lovely pub with great atmosphere and service. The starters and main course were great but the dessert was not good at all. 3 of us all ordered the apple crumble and one of the party couldn’t even eat it. The apple slices were hard, it wasn’t sweet and the crumble just poured on top cold.

Ancells Fish and Chips

Consistently good food and service. A great local business.

The Spice Merchant

Really tasty! ? ?
We’ve been meaning to try this place for nearly 2-years but it was either booked out for an event or fully booked for tables, so finally we’ve had a taste.
I had the Weeping Tiger steak which I have to say was exceptional ??. When choosing steak I almost always go for Fillet but this Sirloin was spot on, comes ready sliced on the skillet so makes it easy. The sauce it’s cooked in absolutely makes it.
I had a side dish of Salt n Chilli chips which were also great.
My wife had Chicken Penang curry which she said was great, too.
Staff very pleasant.
Would have been nice to been asked if we wanted more drinks during our meal as we would have said yes.
Car park at rear with outside seating in garden if you need it or the weather is actually good enough!
Deffo make a booking, you won’t regret it.

Prince Of Wales

Another great visit to the POW, food was out of this world, guinness was spot on the girls working were attentive as always, one busy on the bar, (I think that her name was spelt wrong ?) the other rushing around clearing tables and talking to diners, and Tom (who i can only assume is the Manager) was very helpful, the whole night was running like a well oiled machine, simply amazing, ive seen a lot of changes over the years and honestly feel this place is yet again on the up, thank you guys

Oatsheaf Fleet

Great visit! Wonderful staff and enjoyable food! Was a 5* until we went to the bar at last orders and weren’t allowed to order any cocktails because it was last orders!! Bit weird and disappointing considering there was a lot of bar staff and they were just standing around.

The Tweseldown

Been here afew times now, and once on a Sunday with the pooches. They were happy with their Sunday lunches. More places should be like this!
Friendly staff and Pub grub is nice enough. They do some great deals too.

We will be back again.

Trattoria La Casa - Italian Eateria

Very friendly staff and kind owner (helped me when I lost my glasses). Welcoming to me and mum. Good food and got a free drink when I helped an older lady they knew which was kind and appreciated!

Pizza Express

Visited last night October 17th for a leaving meal for our two friends. Upon arrival myself and my partner who booked our table were greated with a warm welcome and quickly shown to our table. Our friends joined shortly after and once settled the waitress quickly took our drinks order and allowed us time to review the menu for our choices.

Myself and my partner had the Mushroom Aronchini starters which were Devine! Our friends had the lemon chicken wings and both loved them.

For our mains we had 3 of the American hot romana pizzas and my partner had the bbq beef burnt pizza, the pizza sizes are huge! We couldn’t finish them and our waitress quickly boxed these up so we could take home.

We didn’t have dessert as we were all on the verge of a food coma! But we did enjoy a shot each of limoncello or peach alternative for my friend.

The service, food and atmosphere was on par and we very much enjoyed ourselves!

I did ask for the waitress and manageress’s name on leaving, they did provide this but sadly as we on for drinks after I have totally forgotten their names! But I truly hope this review is passed on to them to provide our thanks for a lovely meal, evening and quite frankly very friendly staff!

We will definitely be back again.

Fleet Spice

We ordered a delivery from fleet spice and the food was lovely! They forgot an item off our order, but we wasn’t fussed as we had already tucked into the food. Then there was a ring at the doorbell and our forgotten items were handed to us along with some freebies. Great service and would definitely order again.

Chutneys

I have been using chutneys for many years now and even though I have tried others in the area nothing quite beats this one… I think we have tried almost everything on the menu and we have never been disappointed. Food is fantastic and customer service is great!!

Hart Peri Peri

I've ordered from these guys at least once per week since I discovered this absolute little gem!

Food is amazing and incredible value for money. Very happy to extend my compliments and recommend them for a great little take out spot.

Heron on the Lake

Had a really lovely Sunday lunch with family 2 weeks ago . The staff were friendly and helpful with our large party of different ages and needs . The roast was nice and our server Elize was really attentive .

Great idea to have at the service station. Was really welcome after a long journey via the Eurotunnel. Great to se a vegan menu! Lots of choice. Pizzas were tasty, staff polite and attentive.

Water Sky

Small portions, Perfect for all you can eat so you can taste a lot of the menu. Our waitress (Sarah) was knowledgeable, friendly and made dining in very enjoyable. I would come again due to the amazing service. Thank you

The Good Breakfast

Not sure what everyone else is carping on about! Lovely, friendly staff. We bought the full English as a take out and it was perfect! The only negative is they only did fried eggs - my wife prefers scrambled - but never mind, I had both eggs! AND they were happy to take cash.

Yellow River Chinese Take Away

Popped in here for a takeaway (to take back to the hotel) whilst away on business and Wow - I have been a lover of Chinese takeaways for a number of decades and todays was one of the best I’ve had.Salt & Pepper spare ribs - so tasty and melt in the mouthSalt & Pepper king prawns - different to any I’ve had before and so moorishPork with Beansprouts - loverly textured pork with nice crunchy beansprouts and a sauce to die for.Special fried rice - full of mixed meat and as tasty as they comeSweet & Sour Chicken Balls - individually small in size (big portion though) but loverly and crunchyVery friendly reception by the team there.Can’t wait for my next scheduled visit in 6 month’s time.

Fleet Station Kebab Van

Lovely pub, I often come here with friends and family. There are lots of events and deals most days of the week and the atmosphere is pleasant and warm. The staff have been lovely and understanding. The food is pretty great and fairly priced. I have no real complaints, I had a good experience every time I'm here, and I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Greggs

Staff always friendly. Food standard at all Greggs. Unfortunately the place is abused by some customers who don't clear their table of cups and wrappers. Staff cleaning the dining area is noticeably less frequent than it used to be.

Subway

New member of staff only started on Thursday but excellent customer service from him.
Unfortunately no manager onsite to give feedback on the new member.

KFC Fleet Services

"The Good Breakfast" venue. The Best Breakfast By Far. Travelling to South Wales and enjoying the best motorway service breakfast by far, at M3 westbound Fleet Services, "The Good Breakfast" venue. Wonderful staff and wonderful breakfast. I always drive this route just to enjoy it.

Burger King Fleet Southbound

I stayed at the Days Inn at the Fleet services where the staff was very friendly, U asked if there is anywhere nice to eat and they informed me that we do have a pizza express on the north side in which I had for night 1 dinner where the staff was so friendly and welcoming, did ot have to wait around to be seated and had my food brought out very quickly and it was perfect, I also had the breakfast at the Good Breakfast and same again the service was fantastic and the staff so friendly and the food was so tasty, The toilets was nice and clean and always stocked, Day 2 I had burger king, in which the service was quick and the food was nice and warm and fresh which is rare for fast food joints, the staff was friendly and polite, The knly ace I did not eat at was chop sticks but if their breakfast was that good then obviously chop sticks will be too, all the staff I saw was friendly and offered to clear table when had finished, best service stay over I have ever had.

Churchill's Fish & Chips Fleet

Title : Gluten free fish and chippiesOK so the gluten free is really good, batter is a hard one to do without gluten. Most of the time you'd end up with a batter too thick. Over cooked or soggy. It's oddly just difficult to do. Not difficult for these guys.Churchills has been consistently very good. I would upload pictures, the issue is the second I get home it's almost inhaled instantly. My one criticism and I'm pushing to create this! Out of 5 visits once the chips were too anemic for my tastes, my other half didn't share my opinion.Finally we need to talk about the curry sauce!!! I'm very concerned about it, it's clearly got crack in it and what's worse is I don't care. I'll take out you and my mum to have more of that stuff, excellent in all areas. Consistency is perfect, spot on salty taste, then hit with a curry warmth yet it's not hot so it doesn't take away anything from the meal. If they did chicken curry I'd live in this takeaway.Dietary restrictions: They're very good at keeping things separate for you especially if you're very sensitive to gluten like I am. I'm Coeliac it's not a life choice. They even seem to have a non-fish fish.
