The Lord Raglan
35 Queen St, EmsworthPopped in for lunch and a pint. Real Ale served here along with usual larger. Lunchtime food menu is mostly sandwiches or pizza. We ordered a BLT and side of chips and a pepperoni pizza. Both were extremely good and very tasty. The log burner fire added to a cosy friendly atmosphere. I would definitely go back. I noted that this place also has live music most weeks.

Darbar Restaurant
36, 38 North St, EmsworthVery friendly staff, attentive service. One of the better Indian food experiences. Well-seasoned, fairly generous portions and reasonably priced. Starter dosa was more like an appam in texture but tasty potato masala and condiments. So often dal is a bit of an afterthought but this version was savoury with a dry (?) tadka. Another first was boneless goat in the Hyderabadi Goat & Aubergine which wasn’t really ‘2 chiili hot’ but very enjoyable nonetheless. Naan was OK, along with the okra starter. Recommended ‘semolina & rice powder cooked in sweetened milk with cashews and raisins’ was basically a nice rice pudding missing the last two ingredients. Still giving five stars because their food is way above the average, was good value and the staff are so nice, enthusiastic and very efficient. They are trying very hard to please.

Starbucks
A27, LewesWithout a doubt the best Starbucks in the UK!
No matter the time, weather conditions and complexity of our order, we always receive 5* service! Incredibly friendly staff, always professional and never failing to serve delicious customisable drinks.
You can really tell how dedicated the staff are to ensuring customer satisfaction and just how much they enjoy what they do. Always serving my drink with a smile on their faces! Not something you’re lucky enough to get so consistently in other branches!
And not least always remembering my particularly difficult order. ?
My dog is always extremely welcomed too and they take just as good care of doggy customers as they do with their human ones.
Cannot recommend this Starbucks enough if you’re looking for a coffee fix and always with plenty of parking.
(We must admit we come on an almost daily basis!!)
All our love,
Amanda & Katie ??? xx
Parking: Loads of parking and electric charging points!

The Sussex Brewery
36 Main Rd, EmsworthGood food, nice friendly service but slow due to only one waitress on duty, so she was doing the best she could.
Bit chilly in the dining room to start the evening, but it warmed as the evening went on.
Portions could be bigger, however, we could have ordered veg, this wasn't clear that the food came with none.
But all in all a pleasant evening.
Also very limited menu, fine if you really like sausages or pies, but if you don't you'll be disappointed.

Mother Kelly's Fish and Chips Emsworth
20 North St, EmsworthReceived a takeaway on 08/09 from Mother Kelly's - after a long hiatus (having moved areas). Pleased to report that they were on the money. The food was fresh and piping hot; and the portion sizes were ample. In the past, they did seem to lack a little consistency, so I am hoping this high quality - experienced recently - will continue into the future.

New China
42 High St, EmsworthMy food was delivered quickly & was piping hot. Delicious BBQ spare ribs, sesame prawn toast, shredded chilli beef & Singapore chow mein ? I have no criticism with the food or service but, they really need to update their website. They offer free delivery if order is over £18 & in a 3 mile radius but don't, because it's an old website. Delivery cost isn't much, but that's not the point. They also have an option to offer feedback, but it doesn't work ? Apart from that, I was very happy with my food ☺️

Fat Olives
30 South St, EmsworthI took my wife to Fat Olives for lunch to celebrate her birthday. We've been meaning to visit for ages, so I took this opportunity and what a choice. Wow!!!! The food just melted in your mouth and the presentation was wonderful. It was nearly full which speaks volumes. I fail to see why this restaurant is not Michelin Star. Say no more. I highly recommend you visit Fat Olives if you are in Emsworth. Thank you for a great experience.

The Woodmancote Pub, Woodmancote Ln, Woodmancote, EmsworthFirst time visiting today. Warmly welcomed and shown directly to outer table for 7. Excellent, friendly service from young staff. Sunday roasts all round. Generous portions and all tasted great. One of the better pub roasts I've had. They do a smaller roast which is still a good size. Highly recommended.

Spice Cottage
East St, Westbourne, EmsworthThis is a lovely restaurant where the staff are attentive and the food is well presented and tasty. They do not serve alcohol but do not charge corkage for bringing your own drinks. Price wise, typical for an Indian at around £20 per head. They also offer a free delivery service within 3miles.
